Purple Punch SOG

Unreal207 Welcome to my grow! I have always wanted to try the sea of green method, I like the idea of maximizing space and resources while cutting down veg time, therefore increasing flower production per year. Not only will this be my first SOG but my first journal as well! The goal with this grow is to dial in the SOG method while also reconstructing my grow space. Right now we are working out of a 8x8 tent with 2x BestVA DC 2000's over a 4x6 tray with 1200 PPM Co2. While i like the setup of the tray and plant count, I noticed the 8x8 tent is completely inadequate to work out of. I will be keeping the same setup but switching over to two 4x8 tents and upgrading my lights to 2-3x Spider Farmer SF - 2000's. I don't want to deal with AC and would like to stagger 5ish week harvests! Regardless, I think we'll all have fun here. The strain is Purple punch, I wanted to keep a nicely structured Indica for this grow try to keep it as uniform an sexy as we can! The nutrients we will be working with are House and Garden, I've been riding it out with these guys since the start. Mid tier pricing with amazing results. We'll be playing around with additive's I have a friend that swears by liquid kool bloom so we're going to give it a go. Unreal207 Pretty standard operation with the EZ Cloner. I've been following the same recipe of Hormex, UC Roots, and Clonex with a 95%+ success rate. I cant stress enough how important an intermittent timer has been. 1 min on 4 minutes off. Will share more in depth next batch.

Unreal207 Big week of transplant, I picked out the sexiest 32 for our project the rest will be donated to friends an family. I didn't measure the feed, just filled up the a 40 gallon reservoir we'll dial it in as we go. My plan is to veg for 7 days then flip to 12/12, every plant should be about 10-12 inches before we stretch. I'm contemplating splitting the grow up for trial and error. I may lollipop and try the "One Bud" technique on half of them and let them naturally grow out with a little defoliation on the other side. Please chime in if anyone has experience with "One bud" training!

Unreal207 Pretty standard week, just letting things grow. Next time I will know to pick more uniform clones. On 5/20 when I flipped to flower the tallest plant was 12” and shortest being 5” so we will see how it turns on. Learning experience either way. Just need to get a new fan for the tent and the lights are coming. So far so good.
