My plan is to grow for a week or two then transplant in 4.5 gallon pots with fox farm strawberry fields.

no, it should be fine.. i transplanted an autoflower after about the same time into plagron royal mix (which states an EC of up to 1.6, so also the mix that's heavily fertilized and meant for flowering).. what i did was to first rinse out the soil with about 4 to 5 times the amount of water, so all the strong short-term nutrients are flushed out (to not cause any immediate burns), and put the seedling with the original starter-soil in it (so the roots aren't immediately exposed).. the other nutrients will be released over time, and i didn't need to feed them since.. it didn't seem to harm the plants at all, there were no signs of overfertilization or nutrient lockout or similar..

I had the same thing, I have hard water and this white dust was from the humidifier. Try cleaning your humidifier (vinegar worked for me). I say this because I see the dust on your pot too.

Any suggestions on what is happening. I transplanted today at 7 days since 1 plant was starting ring root.

Hi! I don't know what that is but it does not seem to be anything alarming. Sometimes there is going to be weird spots, crinkled/damaged leafs and everything else but most of the time it is nothing to worry about and the plant will heal itself up! It might be a drop of too acidic water or too strong nutrient water only 1 drop or something. That seedling is looking happy! 👌
