I planted the seed (left over from last year - the first time I had grown cannabis) on the Friday 8th May. I used Westland Houseplant potting mix with a little perlite. Planted the seed in loose soil and sprayed with mineral water. Placed plant in mini greenhouse. Checked it each day, and sprayed with water a few times each day. Seedling popped out on Sunday/Monday (10/11 May). I was expecting the seeds may have died as they were in the fridge since last year, but they seem healthy.
Since friday to date, I have just kept them in my small conservatory and on sunnier days placed the mini greenhouse in a sunny spot in the garden. I have another seedling but can not remember the variety so let's see what it grows into. It was free seed and I know it is not autoflowering, so it may or may not flower.
On a side note, last year was the first time I grew anything and had a good harvest with normal potting compost and organic tomato feed. So, I am going to do this the same method. I grew three Frisian Dews (didn't realise they were photoperiod variety) and two Royal Dwarfs. Frisian Dews took an age to flower but they did eventually despite having limited light, but I only discovered this year, that I had bought the wrong ones (ignorance truly is bliss.)
