Day1
After 24 hours, all of the seeds have sprouted! Only using the Mars at 50% for the first week.
Day 4
Things are starting nicely. All the plants were given 125 ml of spring water, no extra nutrients until week 2. Aside from the one Mango runt, all of the girls have been developing rapidly. Indica and sativa leaves are already distinguishable between the strains. Weather is getting warmer so hoping to add an AC this week.
Day 6
Each plant was given another 150 ml spring water. Roots are visable down the edges of each cup.
Day 7
End of week one and the girls are looking great. All the plants seem to be growing at a similar rate regardless of strain. The runt is giving it her all! Rich green colors suggest the ladies dont need any nutrients yet so I will hold off for at least one more watering.
NOTE: Each plant is in a clear cup which is then placed in a red solo as a sleeve. Clear cups are not recommended as the roots naturally grow away from light. Using the red cups as a sleeves allows me to easily and accurately monitor root growth and soil moisture.
I've been testing out a method of replicating daylight color changes. For the first and last hour of each day, I turn the veg side off completely and blast them with as much red and deep red as possible.
