2020-05-20 (Day 1)
Huge shoutout to Spliff Seeds on sending me these girls along with Dutch Automatic and Dutch Blue Automatic! This will be my first outdoor soil grown Auto run and I’m more than excited. She’s planted beside the Dutch Auto in my vegetable garden. The soil rendered big tomatoes, cucumbers and one large cannabis plant last year sans nutrients. I’ve amended it this year with some soil from the cows barnyard and if necessary I’ll top dress with some Gaia Green supps. There is still a chance of frost at night but I really doubt there will be any. For now I’ve covered them with some clear Tim Hortons cups to increase the humidity. I can’t wait to see how these girls do outdoors in the super hot Ontario summer. A little bit of Dutch 🇳🇱 bud in Canada 🇨🇦!
2020-05-27 (Day 8)
Well these girls are thriving in an early summer heat wave. +33 and humid the last coupe of days and no rain. I couldn’t grab any Gaia Green at the hydro store so i think I’m going to grow nuteless until a deficiency develops, at which point I’ll correct with GHE Floratrio and liquid CaliMajic. The one plant I grew in this flowerbed last year didn’t show 1 deficiency so fingers crossed it wasn’t a fluke.
2020-06-03 (Day 15)
I’ve come to the conclusion that these girls are very unlikely to suffer any deficiencies growing in this flower bed without supplemental nutes. If I run into deficiencies later on I’ll try and amend them, likely with GHEs FloraTrio.
She’s growing great, temps have tapered of and we’ve gone from a hot dry week to a cool rainy week. She endured one day of high winds and is still thriving!
The soil I added this year must have had an abundance of seeds in it as you can see in the pictures the weeds are thick. Haven’t had too much time to weed in the last couple weeks with the new addition to the family but hopefully by next update the garden should be weed free (except for my special weeds). Stay tuned!
2020-06-10 (Day 22)
Growing great and no preflowers yet. This girl has long serrated leaves as stated in Spliffs description. She’s supposed to be harvested in 11-12 weeks so I imagine she’s got a bit of veg left before flowers begin to form. Stay tuned, excitement will come I promise haha!
2020-06-19 (Day 31)
Still vegging along but exploding in size! This is a pretty decent sized auto as she still hasn’t began to flower yet. Days have been extremely hot and rain has been non existent. I water them every 3-4 days just before sundown if I feel they (or my tomatoes beside) look droopy. She’s neck and neck with her Dutch Auto sister! Stay tuned as flowers will form any day, can’t wait for my garden to start smelling! 🇳🇱 🇨🇦
2020-06-25 (Day 36)
She’s stretched like crazy! 29” tall and just Crushing it! Beauty little buds forming between the narrow fan leaves. Quite a beautiful plant emphasized by its leaves. Stay tuned and watch her buds fatten up!
2020-07-02 (Day 43)
Buds are fattening up fast! This is the second largest overall auto flower I’ve grown! Second to her Dutch Auto sister! These buds should start packing on the weight!

2020-07-09 (Day 50)
Sunny as fuck and hot as balls, near 40 C with the humidex. She’s bulking up nicely and smelling wonderful! She’s currently the bulkiest of the autos I have on the go. No nutes and watering every 5 days or so with straight tap water. Stay tuned and watch her fatten up! 🧀 Cant wait time try this cheese!!!
2020-07-16 (Day 57)
It’s cooled down and there’s been some minor rain over the weekend. This girl is in the home stretch and has likely 1-2 weeks left. I’ll check the trichomes before the next update.
I can’t believe how fat the main cola is getting, this is going to yield more than I expected. Crystals as far as you can see! This is truly a beautiful plant!
2020-07-21 (Day 62)
Likely 1 more week! We’re in the home stretch! Can’t believe how fat this things gotten, just bulky and full of crystals. Open my patio door and you get blasted with a mixture of aromas. Stay tuned and watch her finish up!
