Green2Gold A little cold, but they developed well. When possible, I also leave them in the sun for extra hours. I only water when the substrate is completely dry.

Green2Gold Everything is great, except for the biggest plant that started to droop its leaves and burn the tips. It seems to have stabilized, but I really don't understand what happened.

Green2Gold Calm week, I started the top pruning this week and I stopped using nutrients because they seemed to be showing signs of overfert. I did a flush and I will wait to see how they react.

Green2Gold Half of the recommended nutrients, the plants are survivors. For a moment, I thought they wouldn't make it. Unfortunately, one died. I transplanted the biggest and healthiest ones into 7L pots.

Grow Questions

Green2Goldstarted grow question 6y ago
Leaves burning from tips to the older leaves. I transplanted into another soil with EC 0.7, Carolina soil, which is considered good here in Brazil. The leaves continue to burn. I adjust my pH every watering, I don't use much fertilizer. It seems to me like a magnesium deficiency according to online material.

Unless your water EC is below 0.4 or 0.5 EC then it's almost impossible to get mg deficiency. You've been having an ongoing overfeeding problem. With those pots you do not need any additional nutes for quite some time. Stop feeding, give it plain water and let them recover, add nutes once the plant depletes the nutes in the soil, you will notice.

Green2Gold They are loving the new transplant soil and some of them seem cured from the overfert.

Green2Gold I finally figured out the problem, mineral fertilizers are a cancer. I changed my soil by removing all the roots with a hose and top water, after the transplant I loved the technique of using living soil with just organic NPK from banana peels, eggshells, and coffee grounds.
