Started adding nutrients with every water. Only watered 4 times since sprout. Starting Low on nutes. Had stretching from both due to distance from light. Last strait was fine so figured this one would be also.....Hope they are female 😂
End of week 3 day 21!! FINALLY I have had such bad luck with regular seeds. My first 4 plants were male!! I had an afghani that was beautiful but was a male I was so sad... anyway I'm definitely gonna be getting some feminised seeds from plant 2!! I'm so happy. Anyway.. going to but upping nutrients Alot been just getting the plants used to them plant 1 is looking like it's not even on a 12 12 cycle for day 21. Really impressed. Plant 2 is more of what I would expect from a 12 12 seed to harvest. Plants are looking great very excited to see how week 4 will turn out!
Well it's been 1 month. The BIG landmark. Honestly the RH and temp has almost been perfect for a flowering plant. I've been lucky with the weather hasn't been too hot. I'm pretty shocked its turned out this good. More hairs are popping out and the plant has grown 5 or 6 inches in the week. Very excited to see what the outcome of plant 1 is. Plant 2 is doing good even in a 3 litre bag. Feeding with every water rn. Leaves are super green plant 2 leaves are close together plant 1 Is far apart.
Haven't been doing any lST tbh. All I've done is remove the bottom most node on both plants. Might move light up a little they are growing so fast rn.
Seems like time is slowing down as these babys get older. Week 5 and the flowers are showing hard. Hopefully this means an early harvest. I have actually defolated plant 1 as it was exploding with giant fan leaves. Also I've noticed there was a bit of light stress so I've moved plant one to a different location and started using a different light.
Upped the nuts. Doubled actually. Will be adding more bloom and top max for the 6th week and keeping the grow the same as the leaves are super green. Some of the new leaves start out with tiny brown spots but they to away. I'm gonna contribute that to the light being too close. Moved it up a bit we'll see what happens.
Super uneventful week. Plant 1 grew an inch and is mainly focusing on getting swole. Plant 2 is looking alot healthier then plant 1. Upped my bloom/micro nutes lowered grow. Gonna add more bloom for next week.
Can't complain just ready to see how big the main cola will get for plant 1. Until next week boys.
Woot woot almost 50 days. Basically in the same exact spot it was last week. Still beefing up. Throwing out some sugar leaves. Didnt grow vertically at all. Plant 2 looks exactly the same as it did last week. Might up the bloom and top max again this week. No problems but its finally starting to have a little smell which is awesome. Cheers.
I got 2 different phenotypes with this grow.
Plant 1- airy buds, skinny leaves, little bit taller
Plant 2 - bushy leaves, dense buds little shorter.
I ended up using collidal silver on plant 2 a few weeks ago for a couple of days so I could get some seeds. The pollen sacs are actually noticeable now so that's sweet as it was my first time trying to get seeds. It's the 8th week and the smell of these plants is very unimpressive. Half the of the time I dont even notice I have plants and when I do try to get a smell it reminds me of window cleaner. Not a good smell at all. The buds/leaves are super frosty tho. I'm guessing I could harvest in 3 weeks but I might wait 4 weeks just to see if the buds will thicken more. I cant really complain as i was testing this 12-12 cycle. I dont think I'll be doing 12-12 anymore. Just doesn't give enough weight for the time and effort you put into it. Just glad I haven't had to deal with any major defficencys or problems. Cheers
Note to self: a little collidal silver goes a long way. I sprayed the mess out of plant 2 and it has more bananas then buds now! Looks like a male plant almost!! I really have been abusing plant 2. Not sure if that will effect the seeds, hopefully not. I think I should leave plant 1 to grow for at least 1 more week if not 2 but due to unseen circumstances I must start the flush now. I will flush plant 1 for 2 weeks then harvest. I'm happy with the plant size as it's the biggest 12-12 I've seen. It's pretty wild how fast time flys and it seems like I just updated my diary last week. Cheers and be safe.
Chopped down plant 2 and my secret grow. The secret grow was doing terrible. I abused it almost as much as I did plant 2. This plant 1 is my only baby left and shes looking great. I wish I could have let her go for another 2 weeks but I have to chop down next week. This is first week of flush and leaves are still looking green. This strain is defenilty frosty. Other then being frosty the smell is nothing. I can almost not smell it. Definitely a strain to grow if your trying to gorilla. I chopped plant 2 cause I just dont see myself growing this strain again. I Would rather try my other seeds. 1 more week boys then Time to dry
Start-
Well it's been fun. I was going to just put "just grow an auto", but I feel since I put 3 months into this I should elaborate more. I only did this 12-12 because I wanted to see for myself what the difference was between this and actually vegging the plant for a month before flower.
Expectations-
I didn't expect any huge yields but I didnt think so many of the buds would be airy. Every bud besides the main cola is super airy which makes me think it's mainly a sativa pheno, either that or the 12 12 effected the density of the buds drastically. Besides the airy buds they look great. Not top shelf great but definitely some good shit.
Growing-
I wouldn't say I abused this plant but definitely during the first month of this plant it has some light stress as I kept it in a closest that wasnt completely sealed off from the light. I was lucky the temp/ humidity was basically perfect so I couldn't blame the yield on that. Again the low yeild is mainly from the 12-12 cycle and little bit of light stress. Super easy to grow basically just fed with every water (which in the end led to nut burnt) but super chill plant.
Smell/resistance-
THE SMELL! What smell?? Seriously the smell of this baby was almost nonexistent! 100% would recommend if your trying to gorilla!! I'm curious how the cured buds will smell in s couple weeks. I'm assuming diesel and earthy. / There was a bunch of bugs that would make their home around her but would never make their home on her. I would multiple cob webs on the plant but never any bugs which is awesome. Never had a mold problem even with high humidity basically the whole grow.
So yeah just grow an auto. It takes the same amount of time but you get a much greater yield/quality of bud.
Oh yeah... dont buy from msnl... horrible customer service, I have never had a problem germinating seeds until I ordered from them. I couldn't germ 10 ww I bought from them and when I contacted them they were more then useless trying to get a refund or more seeds. I will never buy from them again. Besides that I would like to see a good diary of how a non 12-12 of this strain would go. I'm glad for it to finally be over but am excited to start another grow soon. Eh, update for anyone who cares, after curing 2 weeks it doesn't smell like desil or wood at all it's more citrus. I've never smelled bud like this before pretty wild. Havent tasted yet will update when I do
