VirtualMe My first experience. Busy building my own 54 Watt T5HO 6400K and 2700K light fixtures and rack for plants. Also made DIY fabric pots. First week since germination and taproot showing was cloudy and raining. Wanted to grow outdoors but moved indoors. Grow rack and light fixtures will be finished end of week.

VirtualMe After a slow start for the wild dwarf auto compared to the GG and OB it started to show it first leaves but sadly died. Not sure if it was over watered, under watered or too close to the T5 lights. The T5 fixture with 4 tubes is about 15cm above plant top and get +-50000 Lumens. The DIY rack unfortunately can't fit through the door to the outside room so currently everything is located in my garage. The fabric pots are raised off the ground on the rack for easy drainage. The 3rd fabric pot on right has no plants in yet. Was supposed to be for the WD which died. RIP Last day of week 2 - 7 June 2020 - Not sure if plants are over watered. They both look stunned. No growth. The GG I have put under a dome to see if that helps. I have watered about 3 days ago and soil feels between moist and dry. Temp ranges between 19 - 22C with RH 65-70

Hmm... they do look stunted. What soil are you using? Did you feed them anything? Thing is that if plants have a hard time in the first 1-2 weeks( could be over/under watering, wrong ph, lack of nuts) they get stunted and they won’t develop properly anymore. It’s usually under-watering that’s more of a problem at this stage. I would say temps are fine. The lights are not ideal, but you should see more development even with those FLs.

I say this all the time lol but create a humidity dome, you can cut a soda bottle and use the top half. Grab a diary bottle and spray daily with water inside the dome and on the leaves. This way you can water the soil a heel of alot less abs let the root grow properly. The root will slow down if its too wet or if the soil is too heavy, sandy. 🌱👍It really is the best way for the first couple of weeks.

VirtualMe Very worried, 3rd week and still no to little growth. Plants only on 2nd set of leaves which are growing very slowly. Does not look like it is over or under watered and moving lights closer or further away makes know difference. Might have been nute burn as I planted the seeds directly from sprouting into premium soil from our local nursery.

VirtualMe 16th of June replanted the GG into another premium soil containing coco, perlite, vermiculite, worm castings, compost etc. Took a bit of nute burn it seems on first set of leaves but doing much better. The OB I kept in previous soil solution but decided to re-water the plant till I got plenty of run off. The drooping stopped so still not sure if it was the nutes in the soil or if it was a watering problem. Added small amount of Grolab nitrosol and Kelp to watering. The lights I lowered but picked up leave curling on tips so raised the lights again. Already 3rd sets of true leaves from 16th to 21st of June. Plants seem much better compared to previous 2 weeks. These are autoflowers in 4th week, not expecting much but it is my first grow so going to see how big and long it takes to complete.
