Just a observation. Two phenos. One tall and the other much shorter. Tall one leaves rest more at night. Short one barely drops. I've just been watering with day old + tap water but have ordered a pH water tester. Big difference between the phenos as you can see.

My bottom shade leaves have started to yellow. I am just starting 3 week into flower. Am I having a nitrogen deficiency or is this the normal yellowing. I just started a very light 1-1-2 nutes in my water to supplement. No nutes until now except in soil. See pic

Hey Growmie, Checked out the diary and it seems to be normal yellowing, I suspect lack of light since it's only the bottom shade leaves. Expect the leaves to yellow in flower especially at this stage. Hopefully, this was helpful and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".

Do I remove yellowing leaves or leave them for stored energy for the plant. Thx.

Hi gromies. Is this yellowing caused by septoria? Or just normal N deficiency during flower. I can see minor pest remains ob leaves and stuff but not affecting plant overall. Plant in good air flow and humidity around 50% so I question whether it's septoria. thx in adv.

6 weeks into flowering, this seems completely normal. The plant is drawing nutrients from the fan leaves in a last ditch effort to get pollinated. This is especially true if you have begun flushing her.

@Thatsmyfirsttime, Thank you. Was started out of necessity to avoid crowding but now it's a goal to maximize the canopy to see what happens. The canopy is approximately 2'x2' including both plants.

@Ferenc, thx. she's coming along considering how stressed she's been since in early flower.

Using hydro is a lot different than soil, but this plant loves nutrients feed it as hard as it will take it. Definitely look into Bloom boaster

@Bluntblazer66, feeding is still tricky to me but I’m learning a lot on this grow.

My plants definitely benefited from the nutes I added. I am also watering with a light guano tea on a go forward.

Bought some bat guano to use as supplement today.

This week some issues came up. I think I over watered and my bottom leave seems to be yellowing. I'm only going to water when my meter shows it near dry from now on. The color and tips were strong until week 6. I'm going to add some 1-1-2 nutes sparingly to see if I can correct for any deficiencies.

Short pheno: The short pheno showed pistils around the same time but is slower overall. Super good looking short pheno. Solid at night as well. Big wide fan leaves. Tall pheno. Grows fast. More bud sites. Droops at dusk and back up at pre-dawn. Thinner fan leaves than short pheno.
