So we have had a really hot week and these plants have been taking on plenty of feed. The main three continue to grow, with the little one not doing much growing. With the advice from sweet seeds to lower my lights as the plants seam to be reaching, I have dropped the light 8inch at the end of week 3. Still optimistic with these but looking at other grows on here with the same strain they look a little behind. Hopefully week 4 can bring some confidence back with the temperatures looking steady for the week ahead.

Hi all, I’m new to growing and have had a little issue with one of the plants stop growing after one week but still taking small amounts of feed. Please have a look through my diary and any tips or pointers would be appreciated greatly.

Relax, everything is fine. The plant looks healthy and even stretching a bit, if that didn't happen initially, of course. You have a small plant in a large pot. The tap root is the focus right now. It's going to be slow until it hits bottom and fiddles around a bit before it figures out there's no place to go... then, the plant's going to focus on above ground growth more. It'll average out over time, roughly, if not a tad slower, maybe? You won't tell a difference by the time it's all done filling out for 12-12 or if auto simply blooming. it's an auto.. just give her a second.. the pot size dictates height, and that's a 3-gal? 2-gal? she's gonna get full-sized. small radius around plant as you do now, it seems. Slowly increase. Because you can't rely on runoff, you willneed to account for evaporation with some ph-only doses of irrigation occassionally, or it may build up where roots do not exist... difficult to get teh benefit of a 20% runoff if not watering entire pot, which you can't do yet without other issues from that.

Hi all, Just finished week 4 and I feel they are a little behind for a plant know for it’s quick turn around. Would this matter that I have had the light high until week 3? Not sure if I have ruined there chances? Confidence is a little low at the moment. TIA

I'd advise by counting your eggs before they hatch 😳 backwards I know, but it's better to keep an open mind and read read read! I had a similar problem but not to that extent. It's my 1st time and I'll follow you too. In my case they stretched only I added more soil and made sure it was packed but not really packed, just enough to hold the main stem. Hang off the nutes for a couple feedings and Lower your lights a bit, read bro. Good luck 👍😁👊

I’m thinking maybe I should pull these down? After six weeks it’s not looking promising for a plant that’s known for its fast cycle 8-10weeks. I’m thinking maybe I should start all over again and write these ones off And start again?? Would anyone advise against that??

Hello Butcheebudz! I hope you are enjoying the path of learning how to grow! To answer your question: I would definitely start over. I'd like to help by giving you a thumb of rule for developing healthy autoflower seedlings during the first 2 weeks of growing: 1. Forever home -Start with the big pot to avoid any kind of stress during their short lifetime. 2. Keep PH at 6.5, already during the germination stage (papertowel method strongly recommended). 3. Don't feed them any nutrients other than rhizotonic and root stimulator during the first 2 weeks. 4. Make sure the light is not too far away and not too close either. They will stretch if they are too far away and they start to "pray" if the light is too close. 5. Provide around 0.5L/24h/plant, pour slowly. Also keep humidity in your grow tent between 40-60%. I promise you, if you follow these steps you will see a big difference in your next grow! Good luck I hope for the best! 👽

Your cal mag is way too high, also your all your nutes were too high. Some math is involved 😂 I hate it too but it says you're feeding .25/l with those numbers I say you were over feeding..too much of a good thing is bad. Lower your light and put a sensitive part of your hand under it, if you don't like it, your plant won't. There's lux apps you can dl, I'm serious on the research 👊😔👌

@Shockolateman08, Thank you brother. Plants only being fed when pots are light and switching between ph’d water and nutrients. I thought I wasn’t giving them enough to be honest as I’m only giving 30% of the recommended amount. Lights been lowered and more leaves are being produced. Thanks again for you interest bro.

Hi buddy! They're having a stretching problem. This is because they are not getting enough light, so you should put the light closer to the plants. As long as it does not exceed 28 ºC at the top of the plant, you can place the LED panel as close as you can. ;) Sweet smokes! -Apolo

I'm having exactly the same issue with this strain (+ Speed Auto from Sweet Seeds) at the moment. It is day 14 from planting the seed in a Jiffy and the plants do not grow at all. They stopped growing shortly after showing up. I have no idea why. I have a 2nd tent in the same room with 3 Bruce Banner #3 which are doing great. Same soil, same air, same temperature (17-21° C). Done many grows before with this setup and never had any problems like that. Is this strain known to be particularly sensitive to something (like lower temperatures for example)?

Don't give up...if they don't produce, they don't. Take this as a learning curve and utilize it. Don't start in such a big pot next time, I start in Gatorade or water bottles then transplant to a 3L with half the soil, then I put them into they're "forever home" don't give up bro 👊 I know it'll feel like a waste of time, but no time wasted when learning!
