@DaHunPao, About defoliation, you're wasting time not trimming the leaves. Branches with a higher chance of pollination get more energy, and the leaf, when it reaches its maximum size, starts consuming more energy than it produces, plus those huge leaves block light from the lower internodes. You need to break the plant's habit of growing those big leaves; after each leaf removal, there's a surge of auxins to the side branches. Just remember, you can only remove about 25-30% of the foliage at a time. It grows back quickly within a week. Tested on personal experience. So, I would remove all leaves bigger than a human hand if I were you; they'll start growing faster. But you know, it's up to you.

@RussianGrower, bro, I was out in the field today and of course I stripped off all the big leaves and those that block the light... I cleared out the bottom half of the branches so that the buds would be like baseball bats 😉 ...so I'm in the loop, bro, but thanks for the solid advice 👊 I just showed up here recently and I'm glad to have a friend who shares advice, and great advice at that, not just random stuff 👍👊

@DaHunPao, I've been on this site for 2 years, but I don't always have the opportunity to keep diaries. I can say one thing, that lately there has been a significant increase in Russian speakers here. There used to be no translation into Russian, the site is developing significantly.
