Well I transplanted her in the 16th and hasnt really showed signs of stopping.
Ita growing fast enough that I gave it her first 1/8 dose of general hydroponics grow. Hopefully she likes it. Overall a good week for this plant. Stoked to see it keep going.
So I decided that I'd try main-lining this plant, havent done it before so we shall see how it goes.
All I know is this plant is moving quick, I topped it june24th at the 3rd node (it was at 7) to start the mainline, and it seems to not have stopped or stalled the growth, so needless to say I'm pretty happy. Should have got more then 1 of these.
I guess I was wrong when I said topping didnt slow it down, took roughly 5 days to start to grow fast again.
Topped it for the second time this morning (july 2) hopefully this one doesnt take as long to recover.
Had a mag deficiency early in the weed, I gave it some Epsom salts and it seemed to disappear, had me worried.
So super disappointed, had a magnesium deff, and the big fan leaves had to go last week, causing this week to be a slow recovery. The defficency is fixed now, but still been a slow week. Hoping it bounces back soon.
For times sake I may only turn this into a 4 main cola mainline, considering my other plant I'm trying this with is already at 8. That way I can flower together, but itll come down to how fast this starts growing again.
But here's to hoping for the best. Plus let's be real, I'm more just waiting till I can start seeing it turn a blue shade.
Topped it for the third time and it's taking off now.
Pretty stoked. Just got to give it another week or few and she will hopefully fill out nicely enough to flip to flower.
Still cant wait till she starts to turn blue..I hope
I didnt take many pictures this week, was to busy fighting the heat in my new grow tent.
But the widow is coming along nicely. Just kind of letting her do her thing and just helping her along.
She may get put outside when ready to flip, you know to make room for a new plant as I still got 3 months of grow time outside on the east coast
Well I moved one plant outside and gave the widow the whole tent. And in a few days she is just a moving.
I'm excited to see what happens.
I ordered an hlg 135 to replace my blurple light, hoping it show up soon. If it does I gotta decide if I want to flower this inside or out and start a another grow
Well kind of said fuck it while waiting for my hlg 135 to show up, and moved this outside this week.
plus to this is the sun does the work now and my room won't smell and I can start a new grow in my tent when my new light shows up.
But she is responding well to being outside, can't wait to see this thing Givin it
Well after a few weeks it finally started to show little tiny buds. I think the first week outside kind of slowed its growth down till It realized what was up. Well that and we have had a few cold nights lately. Nothing really changed this week minus the fact I moved it onto my deck for a bit more sun during the day.
On to next week.
Well another week in the books.
The little buddlets are getting bigger slowly.
No real change for this plant kind just letting it do its thing.
Only thing I'd say that has changed is, it has been cold as balls at night out on the east, so I've had to bring it in to the spare room a few nights (dropping down to 6 Celsius) just being safe.
Still hoping it goes blue though.
Another good week of growth. Our nights have gotten less cold lately so I haven't had to bring it in as much.
Overall good week of flowering. Definitely starting to smell more and more. My back deck is getting skunky haha.
This plant has been an absolute dream to grow so far. Its already starting to get frosty which is nice, and I still have a few weeks left.
I'm hoping it starts to fill out soon, but most of all I hope it starts changing colors, may be a little disappointed of it doesn't as i got super excited for the fact it might.
Either way this plant has been awesome so far.
So I got thripes on this plant, thats nice, and to add to it, the night has been getting close to freezing.
So it thickened up quite a bit, but yep got those 2 things to worry about. I know the thripes are not that bad this late, but still not to stoked.
The cold isn't a hugely terrible thing as it may bring out some purple. But I can't bring it inside cause I don't want my tent getting any bugs.
So guess we shall see what happens next week.
Early frost came for 5 nights in a row according to the weather network, and with it having thripes I did not want to bring it inside so I pulled it a week or so early.
Overall this plant was a joy to grow. It responded well to training and always bounced back quick.
The old girl said its a great smoke even before curing started. She smoked maybe a bowl and just mellowed out on the couch. She likes it.
100% will grow this again, wish I bought more then 1 seed of this.
Really wish the frost didn't come, but not much I can do when I have 3 nights below freezing in a row.
Really wanted to see the purple always next time.
