This week we really focused on environmental factors and realised our air was lacking even a normal level of c02. So we've added some slow producing yeast contraptions to the grow. Hopefully within 5-7 days we will have the room back up to a healthy 500ppm

Our final strip before we head for the flip? Maybe, scrogs getting pretty full & crossed over. Needed the defoliation because we've got a MITE problem! All tips and advise welcome 😊

This week's been All about letting the plants grow with no defoliation or training beyond the scrog. We have 209 holes in our bottom layer which we are filling with only branches originating at the main stem. No offshoots. We keep the top 2-3nodes on each branch and strip and defoliate the rest. We're currently experiencing spider mites due to a foreign clone being brought into the area. Any advice is welcomed!

We basically have the same set up, but we used PVC instead of wood. How do you like the wood? How stable is it?

@GFS_Alchemist,we just picked it because it was cheap and we didnt have the power tools to really work with wood easily.😴

@PlaguedGardens, the wood is very stable with regards to the middle of the scrog netting, also structurally sound. Having said that, I've yet to see a quality large scale producer use wood over PVC so I'm probably behind on something!!

Thats a nice setup. Wondering about the HPS and LED combo. Fill me in

@BudXs, Basically we started out with 3 X 600w hps, but being in a warm climate with little control over temperature, it became quite problematic. Hence the move to LED. I also enjoy vegging under CFL/led a lot more than hps because of the spectrum. I plan on using a mix of the quantum board, a new 660w cob, and the 600w hps in combination to even out the spectrums, and with a higher positioning from the top of the plant there will hopefully be a good mix of the 3 light features hitting the plants. I find it difficult to determine the different in yield/quality from each light independently in a grow, so I figure as long as the ppfd is on point then I may as well play around a little!
