LookAtMyHORSE Hey everyone! I decided to try and put together my first grow report (even though this isn't my first grow), because I think it's important to keep a history somewhere (I tried using Google Sheets before, but then realized it was silly to reinvent the wheel and stumbled upon this platform while browsing the internet). My goals: - basically, a growing history to work on my mistakes - help from more experienced growers Why this box configuration? It's simple - it just happened that way historically (I started growing in a PC case, gradually buying a little bit of everything). The main criterion is stealth. What's inside: Lighting: - 150W HPS - 25W LED light from AliExpress - 2x 15W LED lights (I bought them a long time ago, the seller made them himself) - 15W LED lamp All the lights (actually the whole box) are connected to a "smart home" system (on/off can be controlled via a mobile app). As a bonus - the whole box loses power when the front door is opened. I made the DWC myself because I needed small dimensions, and I couldn't find anything like it on the market. I made it from a 5L bucket from IKEA (the pot itself) and a 10L container (additional reservoir). In the additional reservoir, there's a pump with a timer + a high-pressure pump for spraying (the humidity in the apartment is veeeery low <40%, so the sprayer turns on about once an hour to increase humidity). This is my second grow on hydroponics (the first one was sort of a "test"), before that I grew in soil.

LookAtMyHORSE So far, everything is going according to plan. It's pretty hot outside, so I switched the day/night for the plants. There's no air conditioning in the room, so that might become a problem when the plants grow bigger, but for now, I don't see any issues.

LookAtMyHORSE Since I initially chose GHE FloraSeries for nutrients, I decided to stock up on the other nutrients according to their chart (why not?). Hesi SuperVit - there was a small gift tube, and I only added it to the solution for spraying-humidifying-top dressing (I set up an automatic sprayer for this - that's the only way I could raise the humidity to adequate levels). Adequate means above 40% during the winter season, and ours lasts 6 months. It turns on according to a schedule, about like this - for 3-4 seconds once an hour (a bit more often at night, a bit less during the day). As a bonus - water is also added to the pot from there (since it's only 4 liters - there's a chance the plant will drink it all, and I might not keep track of that). What I had in terms of nutrients: GHE FloraGro GHE FloraMicro GHE FloraBloom GHE CalMag GHE Ripen I bought: GHE FloraKleen GHE Diamond Nectar GHE Bio Protect GHE Bio Roots GHE Bio Bloom GHE Mineral Magic Accordingly, I started pouring according to their chart + CalMag (I picked up CalMag from similar reports here). The chart itself corresponds to the recommendations from the nutrients. I sprayed the plant with GHE Bio Protect once (5ml/L).

LookAtMyHORSE I removed the sprayer - humidity is 50% at night and 40% during the day anyway. I started tying up + trimming the lower leaves and the yellowing ones. I sprayed with GHE Bio Protect (5ml/L) again this week.

Some of the adult leaves are covered with spots and are turning yellow (see photo). What could be the reason, and should I trim them?

https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/yellow-leaf-spot-leaf-septoria Immediately (and carefully) remove all affected leaves to get rid of as many spores as possible. Prune any leafy parts of the plant to improve circulation through the plant Avoid getting water on the leaves or laying on top of each other – you want to avoid moisture Make sure to keep the ground under your plant clean. Rake away all leaves and vegetation. Adding mulch can also help prevent spores from spreading. Keep plants healthy, sicks plants are much more susceptible to leaf septoria than healthy plants One way to help prevent this fungus from attacking your plants is to rotate crop sites or move to a new location every year. A copper based fungicide or a broad spectrum fungicide may be effective at stopping the fungus from spreading though they are best used as a preventative. Depending on exactly what’s causing your leaf spot, Neem Oil may be used to help combat the problem. Neem Oil will leave an unpleasant taste/smell on buds when used to treat flowering plants, so don’t let this stuff get near your buds! You will need a mister (also called a “One-Hand Pressure Sprayer”) to spray all the leaves evenly, since neem oil and water can separate easily. Try spraying just a small part of the plant and see how it reacts first before spraying the whole thing.

LookAtMyHORSE Day 50 I plan to cut off the sick leaves and soak them in Flora Kleen for 24 hours. Day 51 I cut off quite a bit of foliage and started flushing with Flora Kleen. I studied the affected leaves - they look nice, but I have no idea what's going on :) Day 53 I kept them in Flora Kleen for about 36 hours.

LookAtMyHORSE 73 days from the cap. 9 days on Ripen. I haven't done much during this time - just watering with the solution. The plant has started to smell strongly, and with the slightest touch, you can feel the "stickiness" on your skin.

LookAtMyHORSE Day 79 I trimmed the big, dried leaves on the buds a bit and switched to FloraKleen. The smell and stickiness are indescribable. You can see how the buds shine in the light. I think today will be the last day for the plant, and now I'll leave it in the dark, and in about 3 days, it will be harvest time. Day 81 I haven't turned the light on for 2 days now, temperature is 22°C-25°C. The solution is just pure water. I trimmed the leaves one more time - while I was trimming, everything around smelled like the plant, and my hands were sticky from the resin. I'm adding ice to the solution - I'll try to stress it out a bit more. I think one more day, and I'll be chopping it down. Day 82 Well, the time has come - the plant has been chopped down and sent to dry. The buds are just bomb. Just touching them, and you can't wash your hands afterward. And the smell - I don't even know how to describe it. Very strong and very tasty. Let's see how it turns out.
