*official intro is in week 6*
Welcome to week1🤠
I have added this first week, because its a new feature and I wanted to try it out, so go to week6 for the official welcoming🤠❤️
Thank you!🤠
Finally started my Critical kush diary, I waited untill it was in vegetative stage.
I had a problem with pH fluctuation, and after transplanting I accidentally got water on the leaves so they got nut burn. But otherwise its growing nice and strong, soon I'll start LST.
For nutrients i use fertilizer accelerator which is used for tomatoes, it has 1,5%N; 0,8%P2O5; 1,3%K2O and I keep water pH at 6.8
My plan for watering is to let the soil dry as much as possible without doing damage to the plant, and then watering well with 5.5L of water (half amount of the pot). So in theory this should help better root grow and prevent over watering🤠
Started LST this week, I think I did it well.
She caught a bit of alternaria from a nearby bush, my mistake, but I very quickly started treating her once I noticed the spots, and I still am.
I'll keep adding photos through out the week🤠
31.7.2020-I started using a stick for my LST because I want to grow her in a straight line.
Now she looks dead and well....mabey..I don't know..😁
I hope that she's going to be ok and that I didn't stress her too much, I'll keep you updated🤠
2.8.2020-looks like she's handling the LST just fine😊
4.8.2020-started using thicker adjustable wire🤠
I think I'll add week 8 after it ends, I find it stupid to constantly edit the diary, so you'll hear from me in a week🤠🤠
Welcome to week 8..🤠
She's doing great even though grasahoppers/crickets/bugs are nibling at her, but its not a serious problem
6.8.2020-used wire hooks to spread her side branches, so she's getting more sun🤠
8.8.2020-pulled out most of the wire hooks and started using straight thick wire, which is attached to the bottom of the branches
Also started trimming useless leaves, that means more veg growth and she looks nicer🤠
9.8.2020-sprayed her with chemicals against alternaria just to be sure🤠
11.8.2020-watered her and you can see how the straight wire is attached to the bottom of the branches
So that's it for week 8, hope you enjoyed it and I'll see you in week 9 or in the comments🤠🤠
How's it going and welcome to week 9🤠
This week I almost broke off a branch, but I managed to tape it and save it. After watering(pH 6.75) I checked the run-off pH and..well shit, it's running low at 6.42pH-5.73pH something around that. So next watering I'll try to fix it🤠
Anyways, I have been progressively tying the branches down and trimming them..whitch I'll try to stop trimming them in week 10
So that should be all for week 9, not much happened but that's ok. I'll be editing this week if I spot some mistakes, but otherewise see you around/or in week 10 and happy growing!🤠
A day late, but here's week 10🤠
Now I'm kinda confused if I should put this week already into flowering, but I guess I should..
Now I'm sorry that I'm posting late, I just had a lot of stuff going on lately. But otherewise she went into pre-flower, I'm really confused how to idetify the flowering stages, and she smells very beautifully❤️
I've also re-poted her into a 39L pot, in which i drilled holes for water to escape and attached aluminium tubes for my settup. It wasn't necessary to re-pot her but I didn't know that until i pulled her out of the old pot, at least I don't have to worry about under-watering🤠
I have also changed the thin wire that holds the stem upright with a lot thicker one
And I did cut a few leaves off, so I don't stick to my plan of not cutting any off
Also Ph of watering was 7.05, I think it will need to be even higher, because I don't have the best soil🤠
There are also no pictures of how I modified the pot, but you can see that in my Strawberry amnesia#1 diary
So I think this is all for the week, not much happed and as I said I haven't had much time and I think I won't have much time any time soon (school and life), but I'll try to take as many pictures as possible and add a lot of worthy information🤠
Thank you for being here, stay safe and see you soon!🤠🤠
So it's week 11🤠
Not much happened this week, she grew suddenly a lot, but like before, she stopped growing again..don't know why, it's weird
We had quite cold temperatures this week with a lot of rain, so I haven't really watered her with extra water, but I did feed her a little. I'm still working on a little roof to protect her from rain so she isn't constantly wet
I haven't cut any leaves this week and I'm not planning on cutting any, so I'm just gonna adjust my LST as needed
I've also been doing some research on harvest and planning my dry box whitch I wanna make.
You can see a few photos of the "flowers", they look nice in person and smell amazing🤠
I'm sorry that there's not much to this week, but next week should be a bit more interesting. So have a nice one and see you soon!🤠
Weeeeeeeeeek 12🤠
So we're getting cold mornings, days are still sunny and worm
She's a real beauty, I love how she looks❤️
I did some re-tying, so she has a realy flat and even canopy (you can't see that on the photos) and found what has been eating my leaves, cute but annoying🤠
I've also tied some string to the branch wires so it all grows level with the ground
And you can see, on the last photo, the tiny trichomes starting to cover the leaves🤠
I've watered her with 20L of water, ph 7.2 because of my bad soil
Also soon in the next week or two I'll start making my drying box, hopefully my plants won't die before harvest😁🤠
Looks like that's it for this week, it was a good week in terms of growing, so I'll see you next week!🤠
Welcome to week 13🤠
This week I have been doing a bit of LST every day, so I've been bussy. I have also trimmed her a litlle bit, but not to much
She's comming to a halt in growth, so very soon the buds will start swelling up
They have a very sweet smell, something like vitamin drinks, and the buds are getting sticky
Watered her with ph7.21 water, run-off water was at ph6.39, So I still have to raise the pH
Weather was worm this week and very sunny, but it should cool down again
She's very symnetrical and beautiful, I really like relaxing next to her❤️
I've also got all the material for my drying box, so hopefully I'll make it soon
And I'll be making a small roof so my harvest doesn't get ruined
So I think this is all to be said, I'll edit this week if I forgot to say something or made some mistakes
Otherewise see you soon!🤠🤠
Week🤠14🤠
Haven't done much this week, I just let her to grow..well she isn't growing any more, so her buds are getting bigger with each day😋
Watered her with pH 7.33 I had to actually make the pH go up, so I used wood ash..quite messy😬😁
Leaf stems are turning to kinda a red-ish/pink-ish colour, I don't know if that's ok or not, but since the plant looks healthy I'll say it is
Also no clear roof, I wasn't allowed to do it. But I will be making my dry box very soon (think next week you'll see it done)🤠
So that's it for this week🤠
What a depressing week..what? Oh hey! Yeah, its week15🤠
I'll start with the accident
So I was moving her under a roof, because of the weather, and as I was putting her down she fell over
She snapped one stem with a bud, almost broke off another one and injured one more
I am drying the one that snapped off just for fun, the other one will need to ne dried very soon and the last one is holding on
I've checked the trichomes under a microscope and I believe most of them are half clear half white
So I decided to do a flush. Watered her with 60L of 7.65pH water, I think the ppm is still a bit high (100-150) so I'm hoping it won't be a problem
Weather has been very cold and rainy, doesn't look like it's going to change any time soon
I've been working on my dry box, I cut the styrofoam to size, glued on a PVC textile, connected four sides together and made the inner frame ("seal") of the door.. There's still some work to do, but next week you'll see it finnished!🤠
So that's week15, see you soon!🤠🤠
Welcome to week16!🤠
Now I haven't done a lot this week, but I finnished my dry box..well I still have to attach the dry rack strip things and the door handels..but it's otherewise finnished
I cut off two of the damaged buds, trimmed them, dried them and now I'm curing them. It was a good practise for the real thing
Did another flush with 60L of 7.65pH water
So that's really it for this week, hopefully ne..//{Woah! Hey! Its me from the future, some weird stuff is happening in week17, you should stick around! You hear that, those are the sirens, better get going!}//ummm..well that was something, but I guess next week is going to be interesting, so stick around!🤠🤠
Week17🤠
Bud rot!
Oh yeah baby, you heard it right! Two rotting leafs, two rotting stems and two rotting buds, all in one pack!
So I had to cut some of my buds cause of bud rot, managed to save some and dry it. She has a very strong sweet yet bitter smell, its like a punch to the nose🤠
The weather has been very rainy and cold, so I didn't even water her on tuesday like usually
I don't have much to say, I'm just waiting for harvest and preparing for it. Also lack of motivation to do stuff and little time cause of school, so that sucks🤠
But I'll see you in week18, cheers!🤠🤠
Welcome to week18!🤠
This week I made some bubble hash from some sugar leafs I had stored, it ain't much, but I was mainly just experimenting
I found more mold, luckyly I could save a little bit of bud, whitch I trimmed and dried. Then later on I found even more mold, but this time I couldn't save any
With my trichomes looking ready to harvest and constantly finding more mold, I've decided to harvest her next week
I would love to wait a week or two more, for some of the trichomes to turn gold, but I just can't
So this means next week will be harvest, I'll post it once my buds are all dried🤠
I did another flush this week, this time with 30L of water, ppm came out to a 0, althought the run-off water wasn't clear..idk if that is a big problem or not
And I bought myself some trimming scissors with a pack of Boveda 62% humidity packs, for when I'll be curing
Well that's it for this week, and I'll see u when the harvest is done!🤠
Forgot to say that I cut off some old and bad leafs🤠
She was very easy to grow and got through every problem like if it was nothing. You can get some very beautiful and potent buds from her, so I recommend this strain to everybody!🤠
Welcome to week19(harvest)!🤠
Before I start I want to say that I'll be adding the taste and effects after the buds cure a bit longer🤠
Took me 13 hours to cut her down and trim her, It was a lot of work especially because I was going for quality
Found more mold during trimming and because of it I lost 4 good buds, the rest was ok
I got some scissor hash and a lot of suggar leafs which I'll use to make hash
I'm not very happy with the size of the buds, my fault, but they are very potent, sticky and sweet smelling (something like orange Fanta)
And I could've had around 50g of dried cannabis, but I lost 9 buds to mold and 2 cause of my mistake, so I'm left with 30.6g
Also she gave me a seed, I don't know if its feminized or crosss bred with a different strain, but its cool🤠
So to wrap this up, she was amazing to grow, very easy and resistant. I recommend this strain to newbies and pros, its just that awesome!
Thank you all for following my diary and checking it out, I very much appreciate all the support!❤️
Hopefully I'll see you guys next year, but for now, have a good one and all the best!🤠🤠
Edit1:
Week 1-2 of curing I opened the jar 3 times a day to control the humidity
Week 3-4 opened the jar twice per day
Week 5-7 opened the jar once per day
Week 8< open the jar once every 2-3 days, and later-on only when I need some buds
I keep it at 62% humidity, and the buds have an orange juice&herb smell to them🤠
The buds are potent, contain a good amount of resin, have a very nice smooth&mellow smoke to them😋
They have a classic weed taste, but I'll wait a little longer and try to smoke again, before adding to the diary🤠
@EasyName, you will be fine man. just keep them dry.
I don't know how the light cycle is in your country, but you can keep in mind you can give them 12 hours of darkness so she will start flowering earlier than actual 12/12 from nature.
@BlackSmithCannabis, well the buds on the outside edge of the plant did, but the the rest didn't that much. That's why during harvest I got a lot of small buds. I think its because of the way i grew her, and because she had a lot of fan leafs and useless but sites that were just wasting energie. Otherewise its an excelent strain to grow and I highly recommend it🤠❤️
