Papa_smurf This is my first grow and it’s being done on a budget, I have been looking through GD and have learned useful information but have a lot to learn, anyway
I have 5 gorilla zkittlez, I used the paper towel technique to germinate the seeds and all 5 popped no problem within 24 hours, put them in the pots on Monday 22/6 and they are coming up through the soil today( Tuesday) so the journey begins. They will only be getting tap water just now but I have canna nutrients to use when needed, they have been started in the pots they will finish in (don’t know if it makes a difference) i have 2 in 20L airpots, 2 in 15L airpots and 1 in just a standard 20L garden pot.
Everything I will be using I either got for free or cheap, the light is new it’s lumi transformer and sunmaster duel spectrum 600w bulb but got that for free. I hope to upgrade for next grow but until the i will try my best with what I have here
No. You need to drop it to between 6.0-6.5 for soil. Or 5.5-6.0 for Coco or hydro. A pH down solution will be required or you will have lockout issues. Happy Growing! 🤟😜

Papa_smurf day 15, I think I had over watering issue week 2 but back to normal now, I think I will start giving little doses of feed from this week. got some weird leaves on one of the plants

Papa_smurf started to give them some feed and seem to be growing ok so I will keep doing what I am doing just now, I am thinking about topping them soon, topped 3 of them today 17/7/20

Papa_smurf decent amount of growth this week and seem to have taken well to topping, I think I will try lst on them in the next few days.
Papa_smurf buds are starting to build up now, added pk13/14 and canna boost, would have liked them to have been a bit bigger but not to worry they seem to be doing ok, the temperature is starting drop slightly due to the weather changing outside.

Papa_smurf buds are starting to fatten up now, just wish the plants had grown a bit taller, got a wee bit nutrient burn I think but sure we will be ok, happy at my first attempt so far

Papa_smurf just ph'd water. just wish the grew a bit taller and I think I might have got a decent yield, new slightly bigger tent getting ordered for the next time. I think I will just use clones next time around

Might be more beneficial to increase pot size as the roots grow and fill each pot, this i have been told makes for stronger roots as the plant gets older because you are essentially 'training' the roots.
@Chimney_Chief, Thanks, I would like bigger pots but got these for free so will use them this grow and I am hoping to upgrade a few things next grow, I have 3x20L pots and 2x15L pots just now
