I am a little behind on my grow diary. My plants were too big for the 2 gallon pots plus the grasshoppers and Japanese beetles were eating them up. I have now moved them into direct soil ( two weeks ago) with Coca shell mulch ( sweet chocolate smells help mask the scent). There was some yellowing and burned leafs from the hot as hell sun. This week, things have turned, temperatures have dropped into he lower 80's to 70's along with some needed tropical rainfall. They have recovered pretty fast and are showing new growth.
For those who have grown Wild Thailand Regular seed. How many hours of daylight must I reach before she starts to flower? I am calculating a proximity using my location and daylight calendar.
Perfect week. Small amounts of soft rain a couple of days. Plenty of sunshine. Flowering out and filling in very nice. Getting to be some sticky bud. I have been picking off the insects that get stuck to the buds, small flies, bees, and a few butterflies.
A little late posting, had some fun stuff to do first. Temps have cooled due to shorter days and hazy sky from the Western fires drifting in all week. Dropped from 98 on Monday last week to 48 for four days. Back up to low 80's and high 70's, perfect flower weather. These girls are getting a strong smell to them, and rather sticky. The top buds are 12 to 16 inches long and some of the flowers are curling in and turning an Amber red to brown. It is getting sticky to the point that I am picking dead insects off of them. Small bees, a few small butterflies, and smaller bugs. I am going to harvest the tops soon and let the bottom branches carry on to maturity.
Normal week for the weather. 1 sister down for the count. She just grew faster and peeked in maturity in days . The second twin is taking her time to develop. No worries, got nothing but time to cure one and watch one.
This strain has an aroma like incense, reminds me of a Catholic Mass. Might want to rename as Pope on Dope.
Bought my first bong in 40 years just to try out this stuff.
I have been growing autos for the past five years, love those for so many reasons, but this strain bings back to many old school memories.
My first daughter is in full cure. 2 main colas were beautiful. Stick stuff, smells like I incense and sweet wild flowers. The high is completely sativa. Makes me happy.
