Strawberry Nuggets *Tester*

A special little package finally arrived and we are doing all kinds of new and fun stuff starting with this round. This diary is for the Strawberry Nuggets which is a cross of Mephisto 24 Carat and Sour Strawberry Kush. This little girl along with her 4 sisters are all within a 24x48x60 tent. As you can see from the pictures, This girl is sitting in a 6-inch basket on a homemade DWC using GH Flora trio nutrients. She is being top-fed until her roots hit the water using a Blumfeld pump and a res outside the tent with the same nutrient mix. Probably 7-10 days or so. Next big change is lighting. New lights were added, Folux Quantum Boards capable of 150w each. They are currently set at 100w each and raised to 20 inches. These things are bright bright bright. I turned the first one all the way up and it hit 170w max and blinded myself. I also have a Viparspectra450 (212 actual watts) between the two QB's for when flower starts and additional light is needed.

Week 2 and we are having a rough one. We started with super-cropping on day 12. She is not having it at all. She wants to be upright and quite squat. We had a power surge and my pump was not protected. Turns out that is not a good thing... shocking. Took 2 days, but a new 793gph pump is installed This little girl has 2 tubes and airstones dedicated to her so she gets roughly 6.6gpm of bubbly googness. I will try again on week 3 to get bent over.

(A late week add) Another week of a happy growing girl. I started to stretch her over again and had to use Velcro to strap her down. She is so thick and crisp, like fresh lettuce. I have to be VERY careful with super-cropping. She is starting to drink a noticeable amount of her res now. Need to keep an eye on that and make sure it is topped off.

So this week we are really starting to see the growth and this girl is just looking amazing. She is drinking quite a bit now. I have the external res with the same nutes that are in the DWC buckets. This attempts to keep up with the plants drinking and keeping them happily supplied with water. Flower with this girl is gonna be crazy especially with my packed tent. The fugue is already getting shadowed with everything going on.

So as you can see, she is in the stretch from flower. She is getting to be a mini-monster. Really hope she stops creeping up so much. I am gonna have to raise the lights soon. No issues this week luckily. She is starting to really suck down her res though.

OMG! You can see she is stretching hard and still not done stretching. I moved my lights to the max heightin the tent with 2-3 inches to spare above them at most. The viparspectra she grew passed can not go any higher because of filter. It is scary how tall this girl is getting and how amazing she smells. The sweet fruity smell I get when i open the tent blows me away and it is from this girl. She is gonna be a monster when finished. Really need to start some heavy leaf removal!

Catching up after a vacation. Wow this girl is amazing! As you can see she is still exploding with growth. Every time I open the tent I wonder when she will reach the top of it. The lights have been moved as far as possible. Only 2 inches above them now and this girl is still stretching upward. A few colas had to be bent over to .ake room this week. The smell is pretty intense. The sweet fruity smell is very potent in this one. You MUST have a filter if you run stealth grows. You will not be able to get away with nothing. Can barely smell the other 2 testers in there because of this girl.

Catching up after a mini vacation. Sorry about the lack of many picture this week. So much going in here,but she is still moving along nicely. It is getting harder and harder to pull her out of the tent with her size. The last 2 weeks she may just get res refills and not full changes. We will see how big she is and what I can do. First, the frost is starting pile on along with tons of growth everywhere. She needs a little more defoliating next week. I currentlypull off 10 fans a day. It is time to get a little more in there and remove what I can. The smell is amazing. I love opening the tent and smelling her. The sweet fruity 24k smell is very potent in this one. If the smoke is as good as I am hoping, this will be the one strain everyone needs to get as soon as it is available for auto growers. I know I will be spending my money on these in large quantities.
