DayMeeYen Enjoyable first grow. Kept them small in the small tent so the LST worked well but the plants ended up badly root bound. Still got a nice harvest in the end so happy with the harvested wait for my first grow. Got a nice little blob of acetone has from the trim, will leave that to cure for a few days. UPDATES TO FOLLOW. Day 84 - Bud drying finished. Trimmed and put into mason jar to cure. Final dried and trimmed bud weight; 15.4g Dry Bud & 0.6g Resin - Already a strong smell from this girl! Wasn't expecting a big yield on these two plants. Was my first grow and I made a few mistakes, the pot size and the early overwater had a big impact. It was a small tent though so I wanted to keep them small. Anyway, I've learned a lot and have already moved on to a bigger tent, bigger pots , some new strains and much more knowledge!!! I'll follow up with a smoke report when the bud has cured enough in a couple of weeks or so. UPDATE, DAY 103; Well, been curing for almost 3 weeks. The humidity in the curing jar has been up and down. They were drying out too quickly so I introduce a couple of defoliated leaves for a day which brought humidity from 52% to 80% overnight. Boveda 62 eventually arrived yesterday morning and I've had my first cured bud smoke test today. I grew a CBD dominant batch with these because I wanted a functional daytime smoke and planned to use this on the evenings. I'm on holiday from work at the moment so decided to sample the NL today and surprisingly, despite the high THC content, I don't feel 'cabbaged' at all, this strain actually gives a really nice body high but with a perfectly functional head high which has surprised me. It's a nice smooth smoke, no harshness and with an almost menthol smoke with a taste/scent. Like a northern pine forest in your mouth (if that makes sense 😁) I'll leave it at that. Enjoyed growing his strain for my first attempt. I've already moved on to my second grow. The lessons I've learned will deinitely stand to me.
