Cleared out fan leaves that was blocking the light from getting to the lower developing buds. Did some light topping to try to get the canopy level as well as creating more buds. Did some low stress training to bring some tops out from underneath other branches.
Cut out fan leaves that was blocking the light from getting to the lower developing buds. Did some low stress training to bring some tops out from underneath other branches. Switched light to bloom.
First week of flower down, 8 to 10 more to go. Starting to form some nice flowers, and aroma. Think I'll leave it under the bloom setting for another week then turn it back to full spectrum.
Starting third week of flower, was thinking about switching lights back to full spectrum but they seem to like the light and are putting on flowers and getting a stronger smell. Didn't do anything new this week, just let them grow like weed :D
over the past years biobizz base nutes (grow and bloom) and aptus additives are a win win..the best combo ever
biobizz(full line) is also great..
advance nutrients also does a great job but its fucking expensive to run that connoisseur line alongside additives
biocana
and people swear on Mills nutes but haven tried them..
Hey!
I personally like to go with the most organic nutrients.
Alga bloom from Plagron is my usual choice. It’s an algae based nutrient. And as a pk booster I usually go with Green sensation also from plagron. Or carbo max from grotek.
I’ve had great results with these. Higher yields, higher trichomes production and amazing aromas and flavor.
Hope this helped.
Good luck and happy growing.
Hey Growmie,
FloraBloom is a great choice, easy to get, not expensive, and it does a great job. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.
Secured some limbs to open it up so the light can get through the canopy down into the lower buds growing up the stems. Smell is still light, not sure if that's normal but....it's getting stronger.
Started out the week by hopefully getting rid of fungus gnat's. At least that's what it looks like from researching. I cut some fan leaves that was hiding buds underneath them and a few of them that were dying. I turned my lights back to full spectrum 12/12, they seemed to like it so I'm going to try 16/8. By my calculations they should be ready to harvest and about 30 days max.
So far everything is looking good. Buds are forming nicely, tight dense with a lot of clear trichomes with just a few barely starting to get cloudy. I told myself on this grow I would let them turn amber color.
Going to start flushing this week, I really wanted to wait until the trichomes turned amber color but unfortunately for the work that has to be done in my house I'm not going to have the time to let that happen. On the upside it was just about time to harvest anyways, in my opinion. The trichomes are mostly cloudy with just a hint of a little color.
