This is a bagseed - what strain? I'm not really sure but it does feel to either be a sativa dominant bud from which it came. Not the dankest or most calming bud, but helps with nausea and I'm excited to grow it as a practice run before my Critical Mass Autoflower comes in from Big Buddha Seeds. This is a window sill grow, completely organic from start to finish. Using Berkey Filtered water, and lowering the pH with a bit of white wine vinegar. Soil is Miracle Grow Organicx, mixed with 2 TBSP epsom salt for magnesium. Will be adding potassium/nitrogren in the form of dehydrated bananas tomorrow, and plan to put coco peat on the top half of the soil once it comes in.
Lil' seed germinated in a paper towel for 3 days and finally popped open an sprouted - she's a strong one 😊 Watering around 150ml throughout the day as recommended by you peeps 😘 thx so much for the help!
Using 15 hours of sunlight facing East so as not to get the hottest sun in the afternoon in the West when it begins to set. It is getting full sun for at least 6 hours a day, with indirect sunlight the rest of the day until the sun sets at around 8:30pm. Ordered Shengsite 50 Watt UFO LED Plant Light Panel for more lighting - should be coming in a few days, but germinating happened faster than I thought. Open to any suggestions as this is my first time growing - organic tips only thanks!
Experimenting talking to my plant (female voice only) + playing string-based/higher pitched music as I've read that helps growth. Can't wait to see what comes of this lil' thang!
- Started germinating on Monday 7/6/20 - potted it 7/9/20.
- 7/11/2020 Transplanted it to a smaller jar for now before it roots. Will be leaving it there until it is a sprout and ready to transplant for real. 2" long seedling now looking like it's ready to root in the coming days. Ordered diatomaceous earth to help with exoskeleton-having pests such as soil mites + any others in the future. Will be transplanting it to a make-shift grow closet once supplies come in Sunday.
-7/12/2020 Day 7 - Removed a little dirt as I realized there was too much on top - little sprout needs the sun! Roots in proper place now, and I re-sprinkled cinnamon to help with rooting and avoiding diseases. Only gave a couple drops of water from a dropper as I fussed with the sprout a bit to gently dig it out so it can get real sun - as well as repacking the dirt. Waiting until soil is dry again to water. Grew almost another inch - probably about 3-3.5" from root to leaf sprout. *UPDATE* accidentally broke off the taproot😫 but he sprout seems healthy enough and I replanted it. Hoping for the best! Fingers crossed - I expect the growth the slow down a bit but we will see!
UPDATE - It died at the end of the 1st week because I touched the root and it snapped :/

I normally mist the sprout twice a day once it's above the soil, on its 4th day I give it 250 ml of I use this measurement for watering/feeding until about Week 5/6 then I go up to 500 ml. I do this to prevent overwatering, remember only to water when you pick up your pot and it's very light.

A common mistake is to over water at this stage, water in small dosages and allow soil to fully dry before re watering. When you allow the soil to dry you increase the oxygen intake through the roots, this is very important for seedlings. If you over water you can basically suffocate and kill your plant. To much water can also cause root rot and root diseases.
