So I had a stressful week being a noob which came with some set backs. I have used westland new horizon soil which was good to start off with and proved to be a good choice although it had no perlite in it which i should have added for a better flow of oxygen and drainage. I have therefore managed to over water my plants causing the leaves to drop as you can see at day 17.
Luckily had a few very helpful people here who guided me through and advised me to give them some nitrogen (Fox farm Grow big) and than i have decresed the amount of water i was giving them.
At day 20 I have transplanted 1 Royal gorilla in to an Air pot and the White widow in to a fab pot. I believe that was a good idea to do so as the root was already getting spanned around the bottom of the pot which could have been one of the reason also for the grow to be stunned. After transplanting i have given them plenty of water with half a strength from recommended plant food (Big Bloom) which they have responded very well. I have ordered an other fab pot and will be transplanting ww2 this week as well.
I believe this is a learning curve and we all learn from our mistakes.
@Ferenc, lol elarult a neved.
Itt is ott is! 😁
Néztem a naplodat, azt kell hogy mondjam igen csak szép munkát végzel. Ha van kérdésem tudnál majd nekem segíteni?
Előre is köszönöm
@Xspellsx, thanks man, yeah they are beautiful and smell that too, comparing to the widows anyway which has a much weaker smell. Also they grow higher but that could be probably managed with training which I should have done a lot more on them. This is my first ever grow so we live and learn! ;)
Hey laz are these the same plants for the question? Does your soil have any aeration material? Pumice/perlite/vermiculite? Those white looking sand rocks that break up the soil from staying too muddy. If not maybe buy some and gently till it in or when you transplant add 1/3 aeration.
@Experimentgreen,
Hello my friend, yes they are, and no it hasn't although I have bought canna terra professional soil which should have perlite in it also. I was going to transplant them this week but didn't wanted to put them through more stress before they recover.
As you have advised in my question do you think I should give them grow big will that help in the recovery and than transplant them or should I add perlite to this soil?
Thanks for your help
