First time I've ever grown cannabis. The goal is to make CBD oil for my little boy and for me. CBD is great medicine for us but really expensive.
Planted this Charlotte's Angel seed on the day of Charlotte Figi's death (Charlotte Figi is the little girl whose severe seizures led her parents to try CBD as medicine. The Charlotte's Web strain was developed in her honour). RIP little angel.
I'm doing a half-assed version of this training technique that some kind soul posted on reddit I think. Credit to 420magazine if you can't see the watermark.

Transplanted and beginning to train the stem. Not sure if I'm doing it right but she doesn't seem to be breaking.
She comes in at night and will live outside after being hardened out for two weeks
Next time I need a pot with a wider diameter. I used this one because it was the only one deep enough. I could have used a bucket but I only have one and I need it to mop my floors.

Big jump to 11 weeks old. I got busy and forgot to take photos. Also have no idea how much water she gets, I just run the hose over her when I water the other plants in the garden.
She loves the rain and I'm pleased I keep her outside although she SMELLS! Lucky I live in a very tolerant country and my neighbours are lovely.
Could this be the beginning of a flower?! I'm so excited, she's doing very well. The colour in this pic didn't come out very well, she has the most beautiful dark green leaves. Very proud of her, she's a tough wee thing
When should I harvest? This is a CBD-rich, low-THC strain and I'm not sure if it makes a difference to what the flowers look like when they're harvested.

So i can't speak for all cbd rich strains in general...but for myself and my closest grow friends we all noticed that our high cbd low thc plants seemed to need harvesting earlier than their thc counterparts. The medical seeds like candida, and then some 1:1 strains seemed to be ready about 1-2 weeks earlier than the other high thc plants of the same age.
So i would watch your cbd plants much closer as harvesting is close because they might have amber trichromes or all milky much quicker.
Week 18 and still not flowering :(
Someone suggested she's not yet getting enough dark hours but I thought I bought an auto-flowering seed so I'm not sure what's going on.
We've had a heat wave here and the yellow leaves are from under-watering. Started to water her every day and she's bouncing back.
