I took the mother I selected from 5 seeds back in 2017 and finally laid her into flower. Before that, I took 2 cuts, one of which is this one to start a new med plant, and the other (this one) is going to be vegged/topped until I get enough even clonable branches to get 10 cuts to grow in flower and make a new mother. I made an ebb and flow set up to bunch many new cuttings together under a lower wattage smaller light until they get decent roots. It's a long drawn out process. Once they are ready for the next step, the one going into flower will remain on this diary, and the other will begin a new one once they are rooted. This has been my night time medication for a while, but Ive started searching for more sleepy painkiller strains which is also going to take some time. As much as I like this one, esp the colors, taste, and smell.... this pheno seems to embrace the little bit of sativa she has, with thinner long leaves, longer node spacing, plus makes lower yeilds. Prob in the 350-400m2 range. Some of the other potential replacement strains Ive started are expected to yeild low weight as well specd by the breeder, but so far they have much tighter spacing, and a wider indica leaf.

Gave them a topping a few days ago. Doesn't look like much progress because of it. I got a little crazy and broke one of the little branches to much today... hopefully it makes it. Other than that, its just a typical boring little pair of plants for another month or so.

Finally managed to get these into the rdwc pots, and under better lighting. They have been moving along slowly, but should start picking up the pace now. Im kind of glad I was able to keep all these rather small because they have to remain here for at least another 3 weeks before I can move them into flower. Tomorrow and going to break off some more tops and get them branches going

3 weeks down. Did some fimming on these to get them to bush up with alot of branches. Makes the progress look slow, but will benefit in the long run. I know this one well. Theyre either 6th or 7th gen clones. For an indica dominant genetic, they dont bush much, and will stretch unless you train them not to. Even the leaf formation is very hybrid, and not wide. Going to go ahead and put them on full light in a couple days now that I wonthave to nuke some seedlings in there with them.

These girls are starting to thrive. The fimming growth is coming 8n, and they're starting to bush out, which this pheno doesn't like to do on its own. Its also very mag hungry. I had some purple stemming pop up, so I added some calmag. Also had light a little to intense a few days and backed it off which caused them to fade a little in color also, but didn't affect them much. These are 4 weeks old. This is beginning week 5.

End of week 5. These lovely ladies have defiantly gotten past the bug bomb stress and have been on the go the past couple weeks. They are a little small for their age, but I believe they will fill their 2x2 areas in the canopy with no problem.

Went from good healthy plants to troubled. Went out of town for 5 nearly 6 days and my ph went up to 7.1, and none of the plants in the system were happy. Lost and nearly lost some coco plants due to drying out also. Skipping the flip to flower this weekend till next weekend for everyone to recover. I'm sure they will as long as nothing else goes wrong.

They have definitely gotten better since the vacation/ph incident. None of the garden has filled up the canopy completely yet, especially after plucking out all the dead leaf from the bottom and lollypopping, but its getting there. Next time I'll do a single strain run that will be easier to maintain as well. By next week in stretch, I'm hoping to see zero floor and 100% in that full area pic.The pics look a little orange yellow, as there is an hps right next to this setup covering 3 other plants.

Back on track. There I've progressively been adding calmag, but they are eating it up as fast as I put it in. Other than that, they need a little more cleaning up on the underside and thats it. The lighting just got turned up 30%. They are still in the stretching phase, but starting to flower. I wish these were more than a medium yeilder because these buds would be huge the way its developing. The lights had just turned out when I came in, so all there are is bad flash pictures.

Yep, still there. Still showing some mag def, and I keep adding it. I let the ph drift up a little to see if that would help. This one has always been a magaholic. Everything else is looking on point. Should I talk about all the other stuff that doesn't matter like air temp, humidity, vpd, spectrum, 500 bottles of nutes I don't use, watering schedules? .... nope, Ill pass.

Shes coming along. Not the biggest yielding, but so far frostiest of the bunch. Shes under a 3k hlg, so looks a little yellow, but these 2 plants actually look fantastic right now. Changed out the water last weekend. Still in the 400s I on ppm. A couple plants tips started to fade, so backed it down a little. 2 more weeks and I'll swap it out to ro.

Coming along well. I hate the small yeild on this pheno, but it smells, taste, and works so well. Gets pretty dark too, which it should start turning purple soon. Theyre going into about week 6 now, and thats when it usually begins to happen. Im going to change the rest out to straight ro pretty soon too. For now I'm just topping of the res with straight ro and mag sulfur. Last I checked my ppm was down to 360.

Looking ok. Rolled in sugar, and getting that signature purple color. Not big nuts, but they are suuuuper tight and tasty. I just flushed the system today and dropping Temps, so another week or so, she's really going to start showing her beauty.

One of the smallest yielding, also one of the best smelling and tasting. This has been a long time favorite of mine, but I might break down and get a new batch of seeds next year and see if I can get a fatter pheno out if em. Even though they are small, these buds are extremely tight and smell like grape candy or grape bubble yum. She may be getting hung up by next weekend, but its up to the trics. The flush is going well. This thing should look completely dead by chop.

This is a partial harvest of just a handful of taller tops. The rest was left to finish up another few days up to a week. There is still a lot more to go not quite ready yet.

Small yeilder, but great look, effect, and smell. Still one of my favorites, but just wish it would get bigger. Will post weight once it's dried. Idk why the f your supposed to post a weight when cutting down.
