WEDS Day 19: We're only halfway through so I'll keep updating it daily. At the start of this week, the plans looked so much smaller, the main stalk was weaker and plant was leaning a lot on sunlight. Propped it up and it's been gaining it's subset of leaves nicely. Hopefully if it continues decent temps and sunlight outside I'll be able to start some LST next week, but will see what growth is like.
THURS Day 20: Started showing signs of decent under growth, so I started looking at some LST.
FRI Day 21: Got a hook and hooked down the main stem to start some LST, think it will really benefit this and growth looking strong there.
SUN Day 23: Did a bit more LST and you can see the lower branches really coming through now. I suppose day 23 would class as week 4 but I'm going by weeks ending sunday. Week 4 starts tomorrow! See what that brings!
Weds DAY 24: Continuing LST and watered with a simple plant food 2 days ago, due another water as it's very hot at the moment. Will water when cooler tonight. Noticeably bushier now, LST has worked very well in increasing the foliage of lower branches.
Thurs DAY 25: readjusted the LST and it's continuing to show positive signs. I can now start to see some signs of a feminine plant, too. Watered today with about 1.5L which should last a couple of days.
I am away now until Monday morning, which will be day 29. Plants have had a big dose of water so hopefully all good over the time we are away and ready for a feed when I'm back monday morning
Day 29 - Came home and thought it would be a blood bath as we had storms and they were outside, but nope. Some serious growth in the 2 days prior to the storm and great looking plant is now super busy and showing signs it's feminine. Brought it in for the night as I don't want it to take on too much water, but will go back out in the morning.
Day 31 - Finally stopped raining and supposed to be nice and hot the rest of the week. Pinned the lower shoots back slightly to allow some more exposure underneath. Good growth and showing great signs compared to the other moby dick I did no LST on.
Day 34 - It's Saturday. She got a nice watering yesterday as the sun is sitting about 33c at the moment and hot. Seemed to love the feed and today is looking so good. Strong, tall and lower branches really coming along. Pinned a couple down and they're all looking super sweet.
Roll on week 6!!
Day 36 Monday - She's thirsty at the moment with our outdoor temps hitting about 34 at the moment, so she's taking about 1.5L a day right now and sucking it all dry by the next day. Just doing water daily, and will do nutes every 3 days. Ph is nice and balanced and she's not complaining so don't want to over do it.
Some great growth and all coming together nicely.
Day 38 Weds - All gravy here, nice growth over the days. Lapping up the sun. I'll feed them some more bloom boost this evening when it's colder. Sun is sitting about 34c today. Looking very nice though.
Day 39 - fed them some boost last night when it was cooler, temps today are still high but the sun isn't as strong. Her big brother has shot up next to her. She's a monster at the moment and only just starting to flower. You can really see the difference in pot sizes and how they fill them!
Day 40 - Rain last night but followed by an afternoon of some good heat has done wonders for this beauty.
Week 7 is upon us! What we have here is a couple of storms, but still some mad sun shine at the same time. You can see the plant is budding nicely and starting to fill in but plenty more growth to go on this one.
End of the week is upon us, week 8 incoming next week and what a lovely young lady she's growing up to be! Hopefully she'll be ripe as anything in 4 weeks 😝
We had a bit of a high PH when testing last night so managed to get her balanced out back to 6.3 but some yellow leaves on her. At the same time she's looking buddy and nice, we have cooler and less sunny days this week so hopefully she'll still make the most of the light and plump up some good fill on those colas. I can't see how she'll go to 10+ weeks but hey, we'll soon find out!
Learning as I go on these. First grow, first outdoor grow, so all very much an experiment and learning from reading on here, so thanks to you all!
Nice start to week number 9 over here. She’s a beautiful thing. Pistols changing to orange and filling out.
Still time on this one. Plenty to go but looking good. Hoping I still have enough good light outside for it to be fruitful.
Buds on this thing are so super dense and citrusy. Smells super strong and I’m not sure I’ll get much more from her in terms of bud. I’ll see how this week goes and if the calyxes develop into anything more or not.
She's super citrusy and a lovely buzz of a high without the couch lock. Able to carry on with daily activities although the dry /high eyes kick in a bit. Lovely smoke and nice long lasting high
