deFharo New grow diary with a highly awarded and photoperiod-dependent sativa-dominant strain (Indica 35%, Sativa 65%) from Sweet Seeds: San Fernando Lemon Kush. They claim this variety flowers in 9 weeks. The genetics come from the crossing of two strains from the USA: San Fernando Valley OG Kush x Kosher Kush. Lemon aromas from the original OG Kush and a sativa appearance with an acceptable THC level between 14-21% make my interest in this strain very special from now on.
I placed the seed in a small, tall container to promote vertical root growth, with a well-draining substrate, organic components, and MM. I will only do one transplant, keeping the seedling in this container until the roots clearly show at the bottom, then I will move it to the final pot, approximately at the beginning of the third week of life. I will continue in the vegetative stage until the sixth or seventh week (depending on how the grow goes), applying a FIM pruning during this period to increase production and control height and width, then I will switch to flowering.
The nutritional strategy for this grow involves the inoculation and maintenance of MM in the substrate for optimal performance of the present organic matter. I will add solid amendments on the surface once a month coinciding with the waxing moon. The waterings following these amendments will be directed, for the first 10 days, to promote the digestion of these solid components. After that, I will apply some reinforcement in watering, with a gentle mix of one of my highly soluble nutrient formulas. In the last 15 days, coinciding with the waning moon and before the next application of solids on the surface, I will increase the number of nutritional waterings, with gentle mixes, alternating with pure water every 2-3 days to allow time for the consumption of the nutrients from the watering. Normally, this assimilation of soluble nutrients is completed within a maximum of 72 hours.
The seed germinated in 24 hours, I transplanted it at 48 hours, it has grown vigorously. I kept it for 2 days in my cool white grow cabinet, and now I have it next to a window with indirect light and resting during the night hours. When I see that growth is advancing and the seedling is strengthening, I will definitely move it to the Cool White cabinet with 18/6 hours of light.

deFharo 14 days from seed, the plant is still alive with a delicate appearance and moderate growth so far. I hope that next week the roots will fully populate the container and noticeable growth will occur.
I haven't done any watering in these two weeks; the moisture in the pot has been sufficient. This week, I will apply a solution that promotes root development (auxins) and vegetative growth (N). Currently, I'm exposing the seedling to 24 hours of light, split into 18 hours in its grow cabinet and the rest outside to encourage more growth. On hot days, I protect the seedlings and don't expose them to direct sunlight. My plan is to transplant to the final pot between the 3rd and 4th week, and then switch to flowering between the 6th and 7th week.

deFharo This week, the third since seed, the seedling has established itself in its container, the roots are abundant at the base searching for the substrate, the tall-profile container seems to be working well, I can't wait to see the root ball.
One day this week I'm going to transplant to the final pot.
This week I've maintained the substrate's moisture, with the addition of carbohydrates and MM inoculation. I continue the indoor/outdoor grow giving about 22 hours of light to maximize the seedling's growth.
After the transplant, I will start the nutritional diet for this plant, in order to obtain, in 6 weeks, a vigorous and leafy plant before moving to flowering.

deFharo Transplant week to the final pot (7L), the pot is of the air-max type and helps with proper root development by preventing them from coiling, it also provides oxygen to the substrate through the slots at 3 levels.
I prepared the substrate with: 50% reused soil, 20% enriched homemade bokashi, 20% peat, 10% worm humus, biochar, and coconut fiber, perlite, vermiculite, and river sand for good drainage. I added minerals to this mix:
1) Clays that improve cation exchange and nutrient absorption: micronized Kaolin and Montmorillonite.
2) Phosphate rock (phosphorite)
3) Volcanic rocks: Basalt (two grains), Pumice, and Zeolite.
4) Other minerals: Azomite and Leonardite
5) Inoculation of MM: Activated biochar, Solid Microorganisms (MMS)
Once the substrate is prepared, I do the transplant, first watering a lot with water and auxins the root ball from the small pot to facilitate extraction, then I sprinkle auxins on the substrate surrounding the root ball. After this, I leave the pot for 24 hours without watering; the moisture from the root ball transfers to the substrate by capillarity. After 24 hours, I do a two-part watering with honey and MMA, one at the base of the pot and the second as surface watering, the total volume of water is 8% of the pot's capacity (550ml). To finish, I add Solid Microorganisms on top and two layers of mulch, the first with sheep wool that retains moisture and releases organic nitrogen during its slow degradation, the second layer made of dry cannabis leaves. The mulch promotes the proliferation of MM and moisture at the top of the substrate.
For now, and at least for 2-3 weeks, I will keep this plant in my Cool White cabinet at 18/6h of light, promoting very compact growth before moving to flowering. I want to make this transition, at the latest, in the sixth week of cultivation.

deFharo The plant has completed the fourth week since seed and the first week after transplanting. In this last week, the plant has settled into its pot, and I've focused solely on maintaining the initial moisture and inoculating and proliferating beneficial microbes (MM).
Although the plant has shown health and growth, the larger leaves appeared somewhat droopy, probably due to low moisture in the substrate. Two days ago, the first two leaves showed signs of discoloration due to a lack of nitrogen, so I decided to give the plant its first nutrient watering. After 24 hours, the change is more than evident; the leaves have perked up, the central apex is pointing to the sky showing its vigor and eagerness to grow, and the plant has grown 3cm overnight.
The conclusion I draw from this week is that this strain is going to demand a lot of nutrients, and I'm ready to provide them; I love it!! 😂
At the end of this week, coinciding with the waxing moon, I will apply an apical pruning to control the height and increase production... and I smoke a lot!!
Taking advantage of this first phase of vegetative growth and the establishment of the plant in its pot, I will begin with the nutrition of this crop, and for this, I've prepared two multi-component formulas, one liquid and one solid:
😅 SOLIDS ON THE SURFACE:
I use multiple organic elements that the MM in the substrate and the moisture allow the plant to digest in approximately 15 days. The waterings following this addition will be light and will only contain carbohydrates and beneficial microbes (MMA). The proportion of the elements is almost equal parts; I mix them and then add 25g per pot, doing it under the mulch.
- COMPOSITION
- Alfalfa meal (Fixes N and enriches the soil)
- Spirulina (Fixes N and provides a multitude of minerals)
- Chlorella: (rich in Iron and other minerals. Folic acid. Amino acids and chlorophyll)
- Bird guano: (2/22/2. Ca, Mg)
- Bat guano: (8/29/2. Ca, Humic and fulvic acids, and microelements)
- Azomite (Si, K, plus 70 trace minerals)
- Fish meal: (5/20/0.)
- Bone meal: (8/6/0. Ca)
- Solid humate from leonardite NPK (Humic and fulvic acids + NPK and minerals)
- Dried blood (12/2/1. Fe)
- Cottonseed meal: (5/2/2)
- Powder from apple, pear, orange, potato, and carrot peels: (Vitamins and minerals)
- Ground eggshell: (Ca)
- Coffee grounds (N and organic matter)
- Kelp (2/0/2. Vitamins)
- Mealfrass: (22/35/24. Mg)
- Homemade auxins (Rooting hormones)
😂 LIQUID NUTRIENTS
On day 34, I did the first deep watering with nutrients, minerals, and hormones aimed at intensifying vegetative growth; the results were seen in all crops within 24 hours.
1) Day 32. Water M, Lacto algae EM 1% and molasses. pH: 6.3 EC: 1.2. 150ml.
2) Day 34. Water M, Molasses, Honey, Hydro Enzymatic Blood (N, Amino acids, and Fe), Bio Pumpkin with MMA 1% (Boron, Carotenoids, Minerals, N, Vitamins, and MMA), Lacto Animal Meals EM 1.4% (NP, Ca, Mg...)
- I also added to the solution a combination of liquid auxin hormones 1% and Gibberellic Acid 0.1%. At this stage of pure vegetative growth, the demand for these elements is high and essential to promote cellular growth, yielding excellent results in the growth of lateral tips after apical pruning.
😏 GROWING TIP
Taking advantage of the mulch layer and the next 2-3cm of the topsoil from my last crop, harvested 5 days ago, this layer is loaded with MM, mycorrhizae, and organic matter.
I added this crumbled layer on top of the solid addition from day 34; the MM in the substrate were clearly visible, the mycorrhizae were seen attached to the more superficial roots, and the organic matter is in an advanced stage of decomposition. I think it's an excellent way to inoculate MM.
The rest of the substrate from the harvested pot will be left in the air for at least 2 weeks until it completely dries out. Then I will remove the dried roots, crumble them, and mix them with the new substrates. These roots contain the spores of the mycorrhizae that will then activate and proliferate in the new substrates with moisture and in contact with the new roots.
Wow, this weed is so good!!

deFharo The cultivation continues into the sixth week. This week there were two heat waves that somehow stunted growth, but now the plant is recovering.
I haven't watered this week since it hasn't consumed what I did on day 34, which is not good. I'm going to wait until the substrate is as dry as possible before applying more water.
Today I did a FIM pruning, let's see if I can achieve a more compact and round growth, as the plant has shown signs of stretching since the beginning.

deFharo Seventh week and another week of blockage after the apical pruning from a week ago, the plant hasn't had any growth, the leaves have remained semi-droopy all week, I'm still waiting for the substrate to lose all the moisture that's concentrated at the bottom of the pot, the daily consumption is ridiculous (50ml) and that's with me taking it out into the September sun when it finishes its indoor schedule, despite everything the leaves look healthy, except for the first two, for this reason I keep my hopes high for a good harvest.
Today I sprayed the surface with 100ml of rainwater to avoid letting the substrate on top dry out too much.

deFharo Eighth week, the plant seems to be coming out of the big slump after the transplant, the growth trend of this strain is vertical, it has grown 8 cm this week but there is barely any noticeable vegetative development.
I hope the trend continues, and I can make it bushier and rounder through LST.
For the last 10 days, I've been keeping low humidity in the pot, only recovering the lost moisture, I have also added to each watering a diet based on algae (lacto-fermented algae with EM and algae bokashi tea), in order to invigorate the crop, it seems that these waterings are working because growth has started about 5 days ago.
Although I had planned to switch this plant to flowering by the eighth week at the latest, I have decided to extend the vegetative growth for one more week to see if I can shape this plant better and enhance growth, this strain has a clear tendency for vertical growth, so far I haven't been able to compact it with light and I haven't stopped the vertical growth with apical pruning either, well I will keep trying to tame this crop.

deFharo Ninth week of life, the plant seems to finally be waking up to growth, although this growth is still very vertical. The apical pruning hasn’t caused the development I expected with the lateral branches; I’ll probably do some LST with a few branches this week to try to increase the width.
This week I moved the plant to a flowering cabinet with 14 hours of light. I’m going to maintain this schedule for a week before switching to 12/12 hours.
The transplant has kept the plant stalled for over 2 weeks, and this last week I’ve been adding small waterings with invigorating elements that seem to have benefited the crop. Gradually, it’s increasing its water consumption. It seems that this week, having reduced the light hours from 21 to 14, the plant has started to accelerate its growth; we’ll see in the coming weeks.
Yesterday I did a larger watering with NP components, and I also applied a foliar spray with the same components.

deFharo Tenth week of life and the plant is neither going backward nor forward, today I decided to switch to flowering after a week at 14 hours of light.
At the beginning of the week, I tied down the two upper tips to contain vertical growth and redistribute energy to the side branches, let's see if they strengthen.
I have completely let the substrate dry out, let's see if the roots find their way, I'm going to water with pure water just enough to moisten the upper half of the pot and this watering should last a maximum of 3 days, the bottom of the pot has been compromised with moisture since the beginning of the transplant.
For now, I’m waiting to see how it responds to the switch to flowering.

deFharo 11 weeks old and despite everything, I find myself with a survivor. I've delayed the flowering stage to strengthen the plant and help it break free from the blockage it's been experiencing for weeks. In the meantime, I subjected the plant to a "purifying" watering with the water from the recent rains in my area.
On day 72, taking advantage of a big storm, I brought the plant outside for a good shower with God's water. Let's not forget that rainwater carries atmospheric nitrogen that gets deposited in the substrate. This way, I started a cleaning process for the leaves and substrate. Two days later, I watered the substrate with 2.5 liters of rainwater, collecting 1.4 liters in runoff. The effects have been noticeable throughout the week; the plant has gained vigor and is fighting to grow the tips. It still shows signs of deficiencies in the leaves that were systematically growing twisted, but this problem is being corrected in the new leaves. Water consumption has increased, which gives me a lot of hope for recovering the plant. Since I have space in the grow cabinet, I will keep the plant in there until it fully recovers. I will continue with rainwaterings, as the substrate has proven to have plenty of nutrients. For watering with regular water, I will only add ormus, as the plant shows signs of magnesium deficiency due to the blockage, and I will inoculate MMA to help dissolve the nutrients and minerals in the substrate.
I keep the plant under 14 hours (cheap electric schedule) and complete the rest of the light hours by putting the plant by the window.
This week, I also adjusted the ties on the tips to control the height and redirect energy to the side branches, which I have also tied to expose them to light and contribute to the final shaping of the crop. Finally, today I did a little defoliation of the lower leaves.

deFharo Last week of vegetative growth, the crop is moving forward after a 3-week setback, there has been overall growth of the branches and shoots, water consumption is increasing, and the leaves are growing without twists.
This week I’ve done two light waterings and added some minerals to the substrate, I’m continuing with the inoculation of Microorganisms (MMA), yesterday I made a solution with molasses and my lacto ferment of auxins and NP nutrients, I’m adding a bit of Ormus to raise the pH of the mixture.
Today I’m going to switch this plant to flowering, among other things because I need new space in my grow cabinet.

deFharo First week of flowering, the plant has started pre-flowering and has shown remarkable growth. The plant is demonstrating strength after its journey in the vegetative growth stage; it was worth extending the vegetative growth time and resolving the blockages.
The structure is compact, I expect good buds, although the untamed tendency for vertical growth, exacerbated by having done the apical pruning too late, has resulted in a plant that is taller than wide. Personally, I prefer rounder plants, and I will take this experience into account in future grows of this strain.
This week, just a deep watering with rain and mountain water at 20% with molasses to energize the microorganisms. I’ve also added slow-release solids and medium to the substrate (minerals, humic acids, and nutrients...)
Currently, I have this plant in a temporary flowering cabinet until there’s a space in the main cabinet. When this cabinet change happens, in a maximum of two weeks, I will increase the light intensity during the most vigorous stage of flower growth. After that, to finish the grow, the last 2-3 weeks, the plant will return to the temporary cabinet with less intensity. I try to mimic nature when, starting in September, the light not only changes spectrum (more reds) but also decreases in intensity... and all this to avoid signs of leaf burn in the later stages of flowering. I believe it’s due to too much light intensity, although I can’t say it affects the quality of the buds because they continue to grow despite everything.

deFharo Week fourteen and the second of flowering, the plant has shown remarkable and vigorous growth, the Sativa dominance is noticeable, it's going to be a great crop, the plant has a strong stem and branches, capable of holding a lot of weight from the flowers.
The foliage is becoming thick and splendid, plus the plant is already showing a multitude of new floral shoots. I'm waiting to have a bigger space in my cabinet to accommodate this plant and let it develop with as few limitations as possible, because currently the plant is a bit cramped in its temporary cabinet.
Taking advantage of the return to normalcy for this crop after weeks of blockage, this week and after 3 waterings with just water, I'm applying some light nutrient waterings again, the water consumption is increasing. 😄

deFharo Third week of flowering, the grow is going great, considering a blockage of more than 30 days in the vegetative stage (see watering chart), which I didn't expect to overcome, or at least not with the vigor that the grow is showing now. The plant has definitely shown a lot of strength; it was worth the wait!!
The structure of the plant is perfect for me and my narrow cabinets; it's compact and tall, barely sticking out from the sides of the pot, and the branches have grown long and strong. Now, at the beginning of flowering, floral buds are showing along all the branches. Overall, it's a sturdy plant that won't disappoint in its production.
Water consumption is high and constant, it dries out the substrate's moisture in 48-72h, which is good!! 😵 This week, 3 soft nutrient waterings with EC: 1.0.

deFharo Fourth week of flowering, 16 weeks of life from seed, definitely a stable and healthy grow, I'm happy!! 😋
From my current grows, where I focused on strains with a strong indica dominance, this San Fernando LK has sativa dominance and a personality of its own, it's showing it with its strength, structure, and growing times. I'm expecting a great harvest of quality sativa, let's see if I can break away from the indica hammers, definitely my next grows will be sativa-dominant, it's about time!! 😇
The plant has a compact vertical structure, with long branches that the flowers are filling without measure, I'm delighted!! 😘 especially thinking that it still has about 5 to 7 weeks of growing left!!
This plant, due to its height (it's the tallest I have), I'm growing it alone in a 40x40x140cm cabinet with a light setup aimed at enhancing the growth of lateral buds in vertically structured plants. Also, with this grow, I'm experimenting with the technique of turning on a bulb (far red 730nm) of 10w for 10 minutes after turning off the other lights, to accelerate the phytochrome change (day/night) and thus grow this species with 13h of light and 10h of darkness, although with this technique the plant interprets the period as 13/12h, which favors early flowering after the change from 18h to 12h.
Water consumption is high, it exhausts the moisture in the pot in 48h, this gives me a lot of peace of mind and absolute hope in the strain.
Three waterings this week, I will gradually increase the nutrient concentration, as I have been caring for it for a long time with just water until it has recovered, now it's time to support and strengthen it!!
Day 106. Rainwater and mountain water at 50% with honey (Sugars, vitamins, and minerals).
Day 108. Rainwater and mountain water at 40%, molasses (Sugars, Potassium, Enzymes, yeasts, Cu, Fe...), potassium humate from leonardite with minerals at 1.25%, pumpkin biol with MMA at 2.5%.

What do you have, lens or objective?
It's undeniable the function of showing our grows in images, without these photos GrowDiaries probably wouldn't be as popular, plus, a good lens has become one of the essential components to show how beautiful and productive our grows are, although the reality sometimes doesn't correspond with the small or big moments captured with super macros. The goal in GD is to see who has the biggest... the lens?
Of course, I encourage taking good photos, also sometimes extraordinary grows and growers are diminished by poor visual presentation, it's clear that it's easier to understand an image than to read the long paragraphs that some of us write 😋, but... where is the objective?... for me, there's only one, to share knowledge, experiment, and improve... the positive thing is that the photographic aspect can be improved without the need for large investments or long photo sessions, look at my campaign equipment in the photos.
It's something more difficult, and it can't be photographed, understanding the vital process and needs of the plants, knowing what I add when I use a fertilizer and why, most commercial watering solutions, which are well managed with the suggestive names of their products, barely provide information on the components of the preparation, that's for sure, all commercial brands, and lately the so-called organic ones have extensive product lines and detailed watering charts... so you don't have to think.

deFharo Fifth week of flowering, the plant has grown 4 cm, the buds are starting to take center stage. The plant has shown great strength and eagerness to mature so far, there are several weeks ahead and seeing the evolution of the floral buds, which are climbing vigorously along all the branches, I predict a first-class production.
For now, the smell is weak, the flowers are all very fresh, growing and finding their place. When I touch them, I notice very fresh and subtle aromas of pine and others that remind me of the sativas from my youth. This strain is making a difference compared to my other crops due to its sativa dominance. When the new growing season starts, I’m going to grow sativa-dominant strains; I’m looking for the flavors and smells of the past.
Water consumption is skyrocketing; I can assure you that its root system is intact, even after the 70-day block, I’m pampering it. I alternate nutritional waterings with very low concentration with others of water and MMA with less concentration to give the plant time to absorb all the nutrients from my highly soluble watering solutions. I’m watering every two days; my maximum humidity strategy in pots for all my crops is based on calculating 10% of the pot's capacity. In this case, since it’s a 7L pot, the maximum humidity I allow in the substrate is 700ml. I water when there’s less than 85% of the assigned capacity left in the pot. I like to water just enough; I don’t want to lose water and nutrients through pot runoff (For example, Nitrogen or Potassium are very soluble and are often lost when the pot expels excess water). Anyway, when growing with organic elements, I don’t need to water with large amounts of water since all I want to do is help dissolve the elements that the plant hasn’t digested up to that point. Since undigested organic nutrients stay in the substrate as organic matter and not as salts like chemicals, I don’t need to wash anything out through the pot holes; I just want to facilitate complete and efficient absorption of all the solid or liquid contributions I make to the crops through the right moisture and microorganisms.
😏 This week three waterings aimed at strengthening and nourishing:
Day 112. Mountain water (EC: 0.22, Ca, Si, Fe, Mg..), molasses, Lacto fermented algae and minerals with Effective Microorganisms (EM) at 2%, and Ormus to raise the pH and provide, among other things, Mg and Ca at 1%. pH: 6.67 EC: 1.0 - 650ml.
Day 114. Mountain water (EC: 0.22, Ca, Si, Fe, Mg..), molasses, Lacto fermented 6 minerals (Ca, Si, Mg, Fe, B...) with Effective Microorganisms (EM) at 2%, Biol from 15 fruits, minerals, and PK nutrients at 1% and Ormus at 1%. pH: 6.33 EC: 1.48 - 700ml.
Day 116. Mountain water (EC: 0.22, Ca, Si, Fe, Mg..), molasses, and MMA at 0.5%. pH: 6.43 EC: 0.55 - 800ml.
Although I use various watering formulas, since I currently have more than 30 nutritional preparations of all kinds, some very complex, either due to the hydrolysis process or fermented and also due to the number of elements they contain, I affirm that it’s not necessary; with just one of my preparations, I could take a crop from start to finish without any deficiencies. I complicate things out of hobby and experimentation; I’m on a sabbatical year and decided to grow the best organic marijuana for my consumption and learn something along the way. The year is fulfilling the goals as well...

deFharo Sixth week of flowering for this sativa-dominant strain, the plant remains full of life and comfortable in a small closet, just for her, set up for tall and narrow plants with a lot of red spectrum. I'm also using a technique of turning on a 10w LED bulb at 730nm (Far Red) right after the lights go out, which accelerates the phytochrome shift from day to night, thus providing an additional rest for the plant. It feels like the night is two hours longer, and the plant is thanking all this with the formation of long and thick flower tails that grow day by day.
I have a special fondness for this grow, as it asked me to trust it during more than 3 weeks of blockage, probably due to nutrient excess during weeks 5 to 8. Now it is a very stable and vigorous plant that has a high water consumption. This week I noticed that the plant has widened, and this is due to the swelling of the buds that are vigorously spreading across all the branches.
I continue to ensure that the plant absorbs all the liquid nutrients without clumping, and I keep watering by alternating with pure water. This week I added more dry organic matter to the mulch in the pot to recover what has already been digested by the microorganisms. This time I added dry cannabis leaves and dry comfrey leaves, which provide, among other minerals, a lot of potassium.
As the grow is fully engaged in flower formation, the nutrient and mineral needs are much higher and broader than in the vegetative stage. In my recent grows, I am applying gentler waterings but at the same time with very specialized nutrients. In this case, I make sure to provide, in addition to the classic P and K, Boron, Mo, Cu, Mg, Ca, Vitamins, Humic Acids, and countless trace minerals from the periodic table.

deFharo 19 weeks from seed, the plant continues to be stable and is directing all its efforts towards the growth of the buds, which are climbing up all the branches, I'm expecting a great harvest.
The drop in temperatures hasn't really affected the water consumption, which remains high and stable.
This week two waterings, one gentle (EC: 0.54) only with Microorganisms to help dissolve the organic matter in the substrate, and another with higher concentration (EC: 1.7) and high in phosphorus and potassium: Leonardite potassium humate PKM with ash water (Si, K).
The plant still has a large leaf mass, all the upper leaves look very healthy, photosynthesis is assured.

deFharo Today marks the ninth week of flowering, a time that the grower suggests for the crop to be ready for harvest, but as is normal, at least in all my grows, the flowering period will extend or the aging will be delayed, at least 2 more weeks, although it’s likely to stretch even further, as the plant, despite showing signs of fatigue in the older leaves, the rest of the plant looks full of energy and strength, the buds are now giving it their all, fattening up and growing!! 😄
The smell has increased a lot this week. Water consumption remains high, watering every 48h. This week alternating waterings of nutrients and Microorganisms.

deFharo Fantastic week of bud fattening, it's the tenth week of flowering, 154 days of life since seed!! 😍
There are still many large leaves in perfect working order for photosynthesis, the aging of this crop is very gradual, it's slowly warning me that the end is near, and the plant is ready to eat until it's full, a lot of energy contained in this sativa-dominant strain, the trichomes are becoming more and more evident to the naked eye, invading flowers and leaves... now with sugar... Big buds!! 😜, the smell of this plant is taking over its space, it doesn't mix with other crops and marks its increasingly strong presence with citrus and forest aromas.
I'm growing this plant in a single cabinet, which is next to me all day, this has safeguarded it from powdery mildew attacks from other crops, the lights in this cabinet are a basic mix of Chinese LEDs totaling 170w.

I can't wait to start smoking this plant... I decided after growing hybrids with indica dominance, because I didn't know them... to search for the flavors and smells of my weed from when I was young, so this new winter-spring season I'm going to grow only sativa-dominant strains, if I still don't find the old flavors and smells afterward, I'll go for landraces, mainly African, even if I have to go back personally to Africa to collect those seeds. 😵

- I'm heating the irrigation water between 21-22°C to compensate for the substrate temperature which these days is between 16-17°C.

deFharo Once weeks of flowering and the plant is still growing flowers!! 😊 The overall appearance is healthy with good leaf mass to enhance photosynthesis... still a lot of energy!!
This plant shares a room with my closet infected by spider mites and even though it has grown isolated in its own closet, it has also been attacked, albeit to a lesser extent. This plant has often shared watering moments with the infected plants from the other closet, now I have it completely isolated, I have removed the few affected leaves, I'm on high alert watching for signs daily and I keep this closet at temperatures below 19°C to prevent proliferation. I have rubbed many leaves to remove eggs or larvae, and I have sprayed the leaves with diatomaceous earth. For now, I think it is reasonably free; in the last few days, I haven't seen any trace of the insects.
The plant promises a lot, the buds are becoming more populated and dense, the aromas that appear when moving the plant are all citrus, I like the elongated structure, I’m going to try to replicate this plant modeling in my new sativa crops.
Water consumption remains high and stable, I am doing very measured waterings with nutrients or Microorganisms.

deFharo 12 weeks of flowering and the plant keeps fattening the buds, which are huge and very dense. The plant still has a lot of leaves and the water consumption remains high and stable. I think it has at least two more weeks of cultivation left. The truth is, despite the long cultivation time of this strain, first blocked for over 4 weeks in the vegetative growth and now with this long flowering typical of outdoor sativas, it's definitely worth growing.
Anyway, I notice that all my crops take much longer compared to the observations of other growers. I believe that varied nutrition and root health are crucial in this aspect.
So far, I’m very satisfied with the cultivation; the plant is responding very well to the nutrients and shows growth in the buds day by day... I can say that at this moment, it's the dominant plant among all my crops, and I'm expecting a top-notch harvest.
The traces of insects have disappeared, the large leaves are yellowing at a slow pace... everything's normal!!

deFharo Last week of life for this great plant from the USA... the strain is giving it all to offer me dense, beautiful, and huge buds loaded with trichomes and intense aromas that remind me of other times!! The plant is gradually depleting the nutrients from the older leaves, the journey has been long with this grow but the glorious end is here!! 😄
During this week, I've only watered with water and others with Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) to finish dissolving all the organic matter in the substrate and make the last nutrients available to the plant. Amen!!

deFharo And the time has come!! Today, the day of our Lord 01/18/2021, 185 days since I planted the seed and after 14 weeks of flowering, the sativa dominance is noticeable, I have harvested this great strain!! 😍 This season I started with strains that have sativa dominance, if the flowering stages take this long, I'm going to have to recalculate the growing sequence and a shorter growth time before switching to flowering.
Since it left behind a long blockage of almost two months due to overly enriched substrate, it has been a daily pleasure to share the evolution of this plant, I have grown it in an individual cabinet with a mix of LED lights (3000k, Full Spectrum, 660nm, and UVA-B), I am very happy with the result, I am sure its smoke will be exceptional!! 😊
The buds are very thick and long, with a lot of density and a penetrating smell as soon as you touch them. Handling the buds to prepare them for drying has been a very sticky luxury!! In the end, I got a ball of pure hash that I smoked in two sessions... that's my end-of-crop gift.... this plant is big!! 😵
If I were a fan of amber trichomes or letting crops mature a lot, this plant had the energy for at least 2 more weeks, but I like the psychedelic vibe and cutting when the trichomes are mostly cloudy!! 😋
Next week after drying and trying the first joints, I will close this diary with my impressions at that moment.

Final glory for a great strain!! Despite the long cultivation period, I am very satisfied with the results.
The cultivation was extended during the vegetative growth stage due to nutrient blockage from an overly enriched substrate, but the plant held on like a champion for more than 40 days.
The 14-week flowering has also been long, I am used to it in all my organic crops, but in this one, the sativa dominance of the strain has also influenced it. The structure of the plant, with long branches that did not protrude from the pot and that have filled with flowers throughout its length, has given me the opportunity to optimize light entry throughout the cultivation period.
The plant conserved energy until the last moment, gradually losing the large leaves, so it did not show senescence until the last two weeks, which contributed to good metabolism until the very end.
Today marks a week since the cut, I have been drying it, but the low temperature and high humidity have not contributed much to good drying, I have put it in jars that I will keep open for a couple more days.
Still, I have selected some buds to smoke this afternoon, the density remains after drying, they are fluffier buds than the indicas, but when you grind them, they double in size, I like them!! The smoke is smooth despite the lack of drying, my lungs have welcomed it with pleasure, the sativa influence is definitely noticeable, the energy is now concentrated in my forehead, my attention has multiplied, my body is relaxed!! 😊
The smell has multiplied just by being locked in the glass jar for a few hours, clearly a lemon aroma with mint, very fresh and pleasant, I am eager to feel the evolution of the aromas as the curing progresses.

- After 30 days of curing, the herb has enriched its aromas, now they are distinguished, accompanying the intense aroma of lemony citrus, others with fragrances of forest soil, noble woods, and microbiology.
- The smoke is very potent, with the typical sativa effect that keeps you active and cheerful all day long, the mouth fills with dense smoke, which can almost be chewed, the earthy flavor it leaves in the mouth is pleasant and long-lasting.
- The texture of the herb is fantastic, it doubles in volume when ground and then burns very well.
I will reserve this herb to show off!! 🤓 It is truly a herb to start the day with joy!! 😋

deFharo The cultivation wasn't without its problems; after transplanting to the final pot, it experienced a significant blockage due to poor substrate configuration. It survived and continued to grow vigorously. In fact, it was with this grow that I learned that using reused soil for new crops wasn't a good idea. So, I owe it to this strain to grow it to its full potential next time, as I still have some seeds left.

@Organic_LarF, thanks, I'm a beginner in indoor growing, outdoors I've grown flowers, cacti, and bonsais. Since I work from home and smoke a lot, I thought about making a cabinet in a space as a hobby, now I have 5 small cabinets :) and many different lights that I'm experimenting with as well as other techniques. My dream is to live in a country house and for this, I'm taking advantage of the experience from these grows to learn and understand organic farming, I have a multitude of organic preparations that I hope one day will also help me grow my vegetable garden.
