Critical Auto - First ever grow

So yeah, I started this grow as a matter of necessity with no previous experience. It's low key so I'm limited on space, but hey, you've got to start somewhere. I tried to obtain something purple, but they had no stock so sent me a "product of equivalent value". 3 days after planting they sprouted, 5 days later the photos above were taken.

I don't really know what I'm doing. I'll be honest about that. 1 litre pots, john innes number 2 compost, water and that's about it. No nutes, no grow techniques, no nothing other than what we had lying around at the time. I'm such a class act. The plats are growing though. Let's see

It was nice to see these guys getting started and looking healthy.

These are beginning to look like proper plants, the photo makes them look bigger, but bear in mind that the tent is only 40 x 40 cm.

Buds started this week, which was all very exciting. I've never seen plants in this state so I was surprised to see how long and whispy the pistils are.

There's still nice growth and all is going well, buds getting a bit bigger, nice and frosty around bud sites. The little one in the background is an Automassassin by critical mass collective (diary forthcoming!).

This was a very mixed week. Pistils started to go orange at the beginning of the week, which was a nice sign. Midweek we noticed some yellowing, which was worse at the bottom but visible at the top as well. Not good. We think that using small pots might be part of the issue, so we've started feeding them tomorite once a week (starting now!). We've also turned up the thermostat on the heater and put the pots on a box to lift them off the ground due to low temperature concerns. The smaller plant in the background is an Automassassin by critical mass collective (diary coming up!)
