Day 1
So we decided to play with 3 of our phenos from our peyote wifi pheno hunt. Taking much larger cuttings to see how the results would differ... from our tried and true usual cutting length.
They rooted in our normal 7-10 day period so it didnt increase rooting time. However we did loose alot of leaves on a couple... where we normally loose none. They were having trouble sustaining all the foliage before they got roots started. Even with the feeding regime.
Decided to make a late outdoor crop out of the project... as I already have clones of these phenos as part of the hunt. They will do a few weeks of veg indoors waiting for a few of my outdoor autos to come down. Once there Is a few less plants outside... I will get these potted into 5 gallon containers and they will go out.
Love this variety so let's see what we can make of em both inside and out! Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam.
Day 2
Decided fuck it... and relocated em outside. Put up bamboo stakes to tie off to around each corner of a table. Than ran tie between the back 2 stakes, and did a Lst tie down to each of the plants main stems. They are now completely horizontal. I than fed them with great white in ph balanced water to 6.4 .
I then created a DIY trellis net between the 4 bamboo stakes. Wont need that quite yet... but soon enough. After 1 weeks growth I will get them repotted into 5 gallon containers. Than go to work filling our scrog.
It's a hot one today, but real sunny! Lots of wind to make it feel much more comfortable. Its currently 30 degrees Celsius 46% rh outside. The high of the day is a sweating 33 degrees celcius. It's only going to drop down to 24 degrees tonight... to continue the scorcher tomorrow.
I will be outside as the sun sets to mist these ladies... and get their comfort levels up. Gotta make the transition from indoor propagation to outdoor vegetation as seamless as possible. Another misting at sunrise tomorrow will be in order as well. Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam.
Day 3
Girls responded hella good to the LST tie down!
Making the move to turn themselves upright in mere hours. They are already giving our ties a test. Using force trying to power through them!
Looking pretty comfortable through the transition from indoors to out.
Misted these ladies at sunrise. Got another hot one on our hands. Wanna keep them as comfortable as possible. Lots of wind though today... helping dissipate some off the heat wave.
It's currently 30 degrees Celsius 62% rh outside. Supposed to hover here all day with a high of 32 degrees. Supposed to drop down to 18 degrees overnight. That will hopefully cap of the heat wave. We shall see.
Was supposed to rain today but they've called it off. Little bit cloudy out but more in squalls and patches. Gets bet darker out for few minutes as they pass over head. Lots of beautiful sun rays to be had! Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam.
Day 4
Gave away 1 plant and thinned the herd. I applied a second tie further up the main stalks. Straightend them out horizontally again. Than locked em in place. That will be our last bit of work until we repot them in 3 days time.
Misted these ladies in the morning to get em nice and cozy. Real nice sunny day today with cooler temps. Thank god. The high of the day is only 27 degrees Celsius, 48 % rh. It will drop to a low of 19 degrees over night. Making this a wonderful day for growth.
Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam.
Day 5
Seen roots poking out the bottoms this morning! It was time for a upgrade.... I got em transplanted into 5 gallon containers. Now they are ready for the last stretch of outdoor growing season. Let's see what we can make of these ladies.
We had a little bit of rain over night. Pretty cloudy outside currently.... it's only 23 degrees celcius with a rh of 62%. Supposed to be fairly cloudy all day with a high of 27 degrees. It's going to drop down to 17 degrees Celsius overnight. Not the greatest day for growing but definitely could be alot worse. Its not thick clouds so enough useable sun Rays are still available.
Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam.
Day 6
Lots of sunshine today with a nice strong breeze. The high of the day is only 26 and it's supposed to hover around 24 most of the day. Its 52% rh outside today and the low will be 17 degrees. Very wonderful conditions for these ladies to spring into action.
They were mighty thirsty this morning! I didn't water after transplant. Wanted those roots to expand a bit and search for water. Today we fed them with the full diet listed in the chart. Keep them well fed to keep there health up! That will keep these ladies surging with vigorous growth. Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam.
Day 7
Today was a little cloudy at times... but bulk majority nice and sunny. The high of the day was 27 degrees with a rh fluctuating between 45-50%. Its supposed to drop down to 18 degrees over night. Very decent weather.
Girls have really increased side branching! Givining me more and more to work with every day! Hopefully we can get some good sized branching going to our scrog before they start to flower stretch. Looking prosperous so far as these cuts are full of vigor. Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam.
Good luck with this Peyote, I've never tried any so my Peyote Critical will be the first, the Wifi one look pretty awesome too !
