Seeds started in the solo cups, 5/5 sprouted day 3! Been spraying periodically and added Root magic after 2 sets of leaves appeared. Hoping to get a good root system going early....
update: we waited slightly too long to transplant, the roots were popping out of the holes we made in the cups for drainage. put them straight into our 20gals and gave them all a gallon of water w/ some molasses and root magic.
all 5 have been topped, they all look great! one of them is REALLY growing faster than the others, contemplating taking clones for next grow. all of the ladies are short and bushy with thicc, fat leaves! clearly indica dominant. getting close to tying some of them down to open up the canopy a little bit, but they are a bit short, so ill wait it out a little.
some slightly yellow spots have sown up (pic 4) , fairly certain i overwatered a little bit, but thats ok. We will let them dry out a bit and keep going. started B52 and voodoo from advanced nutrients this week, on top of the root magic.
think this is ready for another topping on these 2 new nodes on 2nd pic? i dont wanna do it too soon...but i want to top more than once..thoughts? opinions? advice?
so i figured out that my lights were much too close, the websites recommendations were a little too much for my girls. we raised them up to 3' away from 22", going to see how this helps. also started w/ a low dose of sensi grow, hoping it will give the girls a little pick me up since theyre a little burnt.
have to manage this canopy everyday, constantly tying things down and managing the foliage. also, cut some monster fan leaves off that were clearly burned from the light, giving the lower bud sites some extra light
still LSTing and defoliating underneath the canopy for better airflow...these ladies are bushy AF! one more week until we flip to flower, we stunted their growth a little so we will have to wait one more week, BUT good things come to those who wait. adding trellis net this week, we have a TON of bud sites, even up to 16 on the one plant alone, so hopefully the topping pays off! still trying to figure out what the deal is w/ the discoloration...
well we figured out that our pH was on the lower side , thus locking out the magnesium...we upped the pH of our feedings and wallah, girls are nice n green again. so we really stunted these girls in the beginning, which lead to such a lengthy veg, but itll be worth the wait. overall, we overwatered, had our lights much too low and even tho we were above 6.0 pH, for this strain it was a little low. after correcting those things, were looking great and are about to flip cuz we are running outa space! we scrog'd this week also and have been tucking like crazy.
well we have officially flipped to 12/12. lowered the lights down to 2' , gave em a full feeding of sensi bloom A&B and some voodoo mixed in there. smell is getting more pungent and the stretch is gonna start soon. cant wait! just look at the # of bud sites on that canopy!! gonna be crazy.
things are great finishing up week 2! the stretch is almost over and we are booming. major defoliation coming this week so we dont have to worry about bud rot or mold. following feeding schedule giving 1/4 doses of nutrients every third feeding. we upped the amount of water from 10 gal to 15 gal for all 5 this week also, bc they are growing so rapidly. net is rly helping branch these babies out. the waiting game continues!
had a big hiccup this week. found pollen sacs on one of the girls, HERMIED. it was a sad day having to chop her, but it is what it is.
le sigh... big gaping hole in our canopy now, keeping an eye out for any other signs of sacs etc. 2 more weeks and we start the flush
lookin good! the other 4 are thriving, gettin chunkier by the day. these colas are insane!!! im guessing between 7-14g per cola, hopefully more! nothing much going on this week , just simple tucking and feeding
one of the ladies has some slight yellowing, but not too worried about it. flush starts soon, maybe next week. smell is getting strong inside the tent!
well, the yellowing has continued, but were very close to harvest so hopefully we can just ride it out! look at the colors on the one pheno! its all purple already!
been a few week, with not much to talk about so we are officially in week 10 since we switched to 12/12! trichomes are clear w/ a little cloudy, while some colas are cloudy w/ small hints of amber...so now we wait.
didnt plan on doing much of a flush, due to some research ive done, i dont think its totally necessary. coincidentally, we flushed bc we werent paying attention to PPMs and had a lockout *doh*
the girls are showing signs of flushing via the leaves, few more days and theyre coming down!
