I am wondering what light(s) you are using and if you notice any difference with UV. Also when do you turn it on? I have heard anywhere from 2 - 4 weeks before harvest. Is it UV a,b,c, a mix, or...? What tent are you using?

@Alexanderthegreat, IR is good for various reasons so run that anytime the lights are on imo. Canopy penetraion/light penetraion being a huge factor, get light to the lower parts of the plant along with the diagonal growth between nodes. UV however damages the plant which the plant reacts by increasing cannbinoid production. From what I have heard and read using this between the last two to four weeks of flower is ideal.

@Learning, I had read somewhere it being beneficial in the early morning and late evening in the flowering stage to help transition between light and dark cycles. I can’t set these up on a timer so they just run during flowering. I’ve seen a lot of guys buy just the UV/IR only panels and just run them on a separate timer.

@Alexanderthegreat, I have been having a hard time determining if it is proven or still just a theory is why I am asking. Apogee Instruments, Dr Bruce Bugbee has info on it and it seems proven but I want to hear it from people with experience also. I have a light that has UV. I may just do my own testing and figure it out but I am not sure when that will happen because I don't really see myself rowing the same strain close enough togeter to be able too.
