Solo Cup Challenge: SFV OG Kush

CloneKingz Week 1 Heya guys! Decided to participate in the solo cup challenge for some fun ! A little late to join but we will see if we can squeeze in just in time. We will be growing some SFV OG Kush buds. San Fernando Valley OG is an indica dominant strain and is a cross between an SFV OG clone and an Afghani father. This strain is often described as smelling very lemony with pine. Average flower time is 8-9 weeks. I Germinated three bag seeds from some SFV bud and planted in 3” 16oz pots. I am using a coco/perlite mix with a ratio of 60/40 coco to perlite. I have never used a small container like this for such a long period of time so we will see how often I will have to water. Not only am I using a bagseed, but will change things up for nutrients as well and will be trying Miracle grow and Promix nutrients for this grow. Week 1 Feed - Using dehumidifier water at 0ppm - 100ppm calmag - 100ppm Miracle Grow 24-8-16 - Total ppm: 200, EC 0.4 - pH = 5.8 For lighting I will start it under 2x T8 LED @ 5000K until it reaches the seedling stage where it will sit in my 4x4 vegging with other plants under a 400W MH @4000K. Not sure yet when I will flip, probably after the first week or two. I will be updating this journal daily and filling in more info as we grow along. Stay tuned for more info and daily pics! July 30, 2020 - Started germination using paper towel method and will place in coco once they break open. - Excited to see how this turns out or if we have any issues using miracle gro fert... July 31, 2020 - Still in paper towel but cracked open, going in coco tomorrow morning. Aug. 1, 2020 - Waiting to pop out of coco! Aug. 2, 2020 - Taking forever to pop out, put a couple more seeds in just in case. Aug. 3, 2020 - Finally one sprouted!! Aug. 4, 2020 - No change Aug. 5, 2020 - These have to be the longest seeds to sprout I have ever used... - Will have pictures tomorrow of all three sprouted. IG: clone_kingz

CloneKingz Week 2 Veg - All the beans finally sprouted, longest germination I have ever experienced! - Time for the races now, they should start to blast off Aug. 6, 2020 - Seeds finally popped off and seedlings opened up. - Watered with 80mL feed water Aug. 7, 2020 - Gave a little water, they are looking good. - Not much change Aug. 8, 2020 - Made a clone and mother shelf, I have these fellas in there for now.
