2nd Microgrow

Welcome to my second grow! So first of all I want to thank RQS, for a small starting gear pack, I really appreciate it and want to try it out in this grow! This grow will be more an experimental one, I want to test a couple things out, and see what will be the outcome. 1. I want to see if i can manage a winter period grow, for this I picked the sweet ZZ auto since she is for cold climate and would fit good in this test. 2. I want to to test with 2 smaller pots, instead of 1 big, if something goes wrong I might safe at least one and don't lose everything. I picked for this 2x 4L fabric pots. 3. I will top the one, while leaving the other one with LST only. 4. 18/6 whole lifetime. Will use only the easy boost as nutrient, and a 1x combo boost, 1x during veg and 2x during flower, so the whole grow will be only with water. With the easy booster they should have enough for around 12 weeks (thats what RQS says). So lets see whats happen. :-) I wont count this week as veg week, since its just an introduction.

Welcome to the first week, I had a couple problems during germination and I don't know what I made wrong, but: I didn't like those easy start pots! I prepared it like it was described but the one didn't germinate while the other looked like it was pushing itself out of the pot. I put them into my final fabric pots, the one luckily survived, and I left the other one a couple more days, sadly the seed was rotten inside so I had no choice but to take it out, and plant a new one. I put the new directly into the main pot and waiting now to germinate. Since she will take a bit longer I'm going to top the healthy one, maybe the newborn will catch up. Last days were pretty much destroying me... inside the Box I had temps of about 38°C so i leave the front door open for a while as long as there is no smell. For this grow I prepared around 25g Easy Boost and put it 50:50 into both pots, I will use the one Veg-Boost tab when they get bigger, first bloom boost at the beginning of flowering and the second one towards the end of their lifecycle. I wont add any other nutrients except of these. I could have put some more soil inside... lol Maybe I will add more later. Have a great day, till next weekend!

Welcome to the 2nd week, currently I'm a bit busy so I dont have so much time to care for this diary, but I try to keep it up. Weather getting colder which is good for my little box, temp are down to around 30°C (better than 38 previous). The second one is catching up, both look good, until now I gave them Water only. Yesterday I topped the left one, maybe a bit too late? I wasn't sure when to top so I just did it. I think about using the VEG-Booster-Tab at the end of the week when the left one is recovered again, and the right one is a bit bigger. So thats all for now, nothing much happened till now. Welcome to week 3, Still only water for now, and shes doing good so far I'd say. The left one got pretty bushy but recovered good and fast from topping, the right one couldn't catch up so far and probably wont, but looking good. For the next week i prepare the Veg-Booster to feed them with. Nothing much to say currently, there are no bigger issues at the moment. SPOILER ALERT: Since im currently in week 4 while typing this, I defoliated and LST the left one. See you next week!

Sorry for the delay, think this diary doesn't go that well, missing the time to update so i do both weeks now. I did some defoliation and LST to the left one. I feed the whole week with water plus the one grow booster tab I had. Until now everything goes well, there are no bigger issues.

So for this week i gave her only water. Both getting really bushy so i defoliated once more. It looks like the left one switching into flowering, guess the other one needs at least 1 more week, since i put there in the box around 1 week later. I will start with the first flowering tab soon. So far they're still doing great, left one looks way better overall. Biggest problem now if the space, but that is a problem i cannot change, so i hope they wont explode too much.

Both are now in flowering and seem to be good so far. a couple lower leaves turned a bit yellow-ish, but overall doing great. The space is a big issue but somehow it works. I did some more defoliation, the left one is really really bushy but the small buds are somehow sweet. Next week I will feed them with the first flowering booster, see what happens.
