Shrek2onDVD This little lady had some trouble shedding the seed shell, which caused it to skew slightly. I helped take the shell off and she straightened out pretty quickly. Took about 3 days from germination to open up. (temps were a little low)
Shrek2onDVD Added some nutrients to my watering, and I messed up the PH. She stopped growing completely and became water locked when I tried to flush the soil. Leaves started drooping and yellowing. Didn't take many pics this week as I was trying to rescue her. But repotted her in drier soil and things turned around, beginning of week 4.

Shrek2onDVD She recovered from lasts week's watering blunder. You can see the yellowing on the lower leaves. looks to be healthy now though, and will hopefully start vegging out consistently now. I will top her soon.

Shrek2onDVD Topped the plants to make more bud sites, growth slowed quite a bit after this considering the plants were under stress. I'm not sure if clearing the foliage below the topping site is a good idea or not? I've heard it directs growth to the new leading stems so that's what i did.

Shrek2onDVD Plant 1 - now has 5 main stems, one broke while topping :(. It has been growing in a regular 10l pot.
Plant 2 - 4 main stems. I have been growing this plant in an air-pot. (a 10l orchid pot to be exact)
I decided to run a small experiment, having one plant in an air pot, and the other in a regular pot. The growth difference is quite something, plant two has significantly thicker stems and bigger leaves, and the seed was germinated 4 days after plant 1. It may not all be down to the air pot but it is interesting to observe.

Shrek2onDVD I've had some trouble since transplanting. Seemed to be either, root rot or perhaps a potassium deficiency issue. The leaves were all yellowing from the outside moving in, starting on the lower leaves, growth didn't stop though. Anyway, I watered with natural liquid-based fertilizer and it seemed to have corrected itself.

Shrek2onDVD They have been in flower for a week, plants look fairly healthy. I set up some trellising before switching over to flower, to get some nice spacing on the canopy. 1st signs of pistols are starting to show. I also added Bone meal and kelp to the soil a week before flipping to flower to make sure they have enough phosphorus and potassium available for the transition into bud production. Defoliated the lower canopy, think there is still some to remove, so will do that soon. :)

Shrek2onDVD Plants have stretched significantly, almost doubled in height, I think the stretching has stopped now. I have some weird deficiencies showing up in plant 1, the leaves are discolored, I think its a root issue. I began adding a microbe mix, Enyronoc 401, hopefully, that helps the soil.

Shrek2onDVD Flowering is going strong. The healthier of the two plants are starting to show some nice resin production. I do light defoliation when I see bud sights being blocked from receiving light.
The plants were not the easiest to grow, they were a little sensitive.
The buds taste and smell great, very sweet. The Humboldt descriptions are very accurate.
I trimmed 147 grams and got tired, the remaining buds were still showing 200 grams+ with a dry trim. So the yield was very good.
Looking good. 👍
I’ve grown many a Blue Fire from HSO and it’s real Fire 🔥 however try to keep your environment stable (not too hot) cuz they’re notorious for herming. All the best and good luck with your grow
