Plants are clones taken from one of two mother plants I have. They where vegged for 6 to 8 weeks. I wanted maximum stem development without sacrificing root space since I'm working with air pots I'm not too concerned.
I LST branches under SCROG net to maximize bud sites. I do defoliate up to week 3, but this strain isn't leafy so I'll tuck big fans for now. This weeks last feeding ppm ended at 1000...I
did this because I noticed that they show bud sites within 2 days of flip and wanted to take advantage of this growth.
Still did not have to do any major defoliating. I probably removed 10 leaves total so far which is outstanding, less stress on the plants and she can concentrate on stacking buds. She's showing no signs of overfeeding, but I don't want to waste nutrients unnecessarily.
This week has been nothing but buds getting fat and a little smelly. I'm running two separate tents with to different phenotypes of this strain. It seems as if plant #1 is a little further than #2. #1 is smelling fruity while #2 bit peppery. I missed watering one plant and its leaves are turning..I also added some calmag this week.
This week pheno #2 is having some issues with the leaves turning yellow. I added some Cal-Mag and it helped but when I stopped she kept losing "some" greenery, not a lot, so I guess I'll be adding a little to her every feeding. Pheno #1 is humming along nicely with no deficiencies, which is confirming that I don't want to keep growing #2
Pheno #1 gave me no issues, while #2 had yellowing of the leaves a little sooner than I expected. I didn't defoliate much, so she has leaves to spare. Pheno #1 looks like she'll be ready in the 56 days...I might take her to 70 days, just to get a good cough lock or whenever number 2 has ripened enough since she appears to be behind.
I spoke to soon and pushed it 🤦♂️🏽PPM got away from me this week and they look terrible because of the leaf burn, but the buds look and smell fantastic. The first tent, they’re so close to being done, that its nothing but ph water for this last 5 or 6 days for them…as for the other I’m guessing another 2 weeks, don’t know why she’s behind, other than being a pheno expression.
Very fun to grow, she takes care of herself with minimal maintenance. Stems do need to be supported because them buds plump up. Other than that I'd recommend this strain to a beginner and experienced grower.
