For the purpose of documentation, day 1 was when the beans were dropped in the dirt. End of week 1 shows 100% germination rate. Growth has been steady after a 4 day germination period. These photos are of day 3 above ground. Thanks for dropping in!
End of week 2, things looking good. The Blue Dreams had some spotting on the first true leaves. I think either over watering, or water spot burn, either way, it hasn't gotten worse. The Twins has been rock solid so far, no complaints. Environment has been spot on with temps in the mid 70s and humidity around 61%. I started supplementing with a very light mixture of Big Bloom and CalMag and we'll do our second inoculation with Great White this next week. Thanks for stopping by!!
Other than my dumb ass heavy hand with a watering can, we've been doing alright. I topped this week above the 3rd node and vertical growth has stopped, but the lower growth has begun coming up. The Twins from Cannarado is still the largest and has been super strong from the start. The HSO Blue Dreams haven't really had any problems either, so no real complaints. I am going to transplant to 2g pots this week. Thanks for dropping by!!
Week 4 has gone pretty well. Transplanted to 2g pots, growth has stayed steady and the Cannarado Twins is still a beast. Very strong genetics. The Blue Dream is coming along and I really don't have any complaints. I'm going to top again this week. 3-4 more weeks of veg and I think we'll be ready for the flip. Thanks for stopping in!!
Week 5 was not without it's challenges, but we're slowly inching towards the flip. I've done a decent job of keeping vertical growth down by doing a second topping on the larger BD and the "Twins" ladies and LST on the smaller BD. I also bent the "Twins" over nearly in half, creating a pseudo-super cropping type of situation. She's such a trooper and just keeps growing. She's got like 15-18 tops and looks like she's gonna be a friggin' bush!! As this is my first photo run and my autos never really needed veg nutes, it's been a challenge getting ppm levels correct, but I think we're headed in the right direction. Lights are still on 24/7 and environmental conditions have been pretty consistent. I figure another week or so and we'll do our final transplant in to the 5g bags. I'll give them another week or so to settle in to their new homes and, as long as things are healthy, we'll make the flip! Cheers and thanks for dropping in!!
Good day all!! I do believe one of my ladies has decided that she doesn't want to be a lady, she'd rather be a dude....Not that there's anything wrong with that....🤣🤣. But seriously, can someone confirm, or deny, that these are balls and I need to send her/him out to pasture...
I really don't have anywhere to put it. It's always been runty and kinda droopy looking compared to the other two. I think it's destiny that it goes out to the compost heap 🤣🤣🤣.
@CheckThoseTrichs,BD has always been one of my faves, so I'm excited to try my hand at it. I transplanted yesterday. I'll post photos at the end of the week!
Thanks!
