Super excited to get my FastBuds order. This grow will be the Wedding Cheesecake. First week I just kept things simple. I was able to successfully germinate the seed and once complete..... GAME ON!!!
Just been watering ph'd at 6 for the start. We'll see how things develop
This was a great week for this one. Steady growth and she seems happy with the nute feeding. Other than the one feeding with Fox Farm I've been watering steady with a ph of 6
I'll continue this regiment into next week. 👍
Another great week of growth for this lady. This is my third FastBuds grow and they are all consistent and amazing. I watered once with a third of the recommended Fox Farms nutes. The rest of the time I watered with plain water ph'd at 6.
I will continue doing this another week as long as she seems happy. 👍
Another great week of growth. Almost twice her size in just a week. It looks like they are ready to begin flowering. I watered once with the Fox Farm nutes. The rest of the time I did watering with my ph balanced at 6
I'll continue to follow this regiment as the Fox Farm Ocean Mix soil seems to be making my plants happy and healthy. It's also making my job easier which is kind of boring ;) Looking forward to seeing what happens next week. 👍
Another great week of growth. 10 inches this past week and also we've seen the first signs of flowering. I have been giving her a ph balanced at 6 watering several times a week as needed. Using a three gallon pot and giving a full watering each time, I still find I'm watering faithfully every 2 days. Going to continue this plan until she tells me otherwise. 👍
This plant is a beast!! She has been growing like no ones business and has now began producing really nice bud sites. I think this plant will be something special. FastBuds have made me a believer. They have been very consistent with look, growth, etc. I'm excited for the coming weeks as I have a few FastBuds seeds growing at the moment.
I cannot say enough about how great this plant is growing. I now have one tent dedicated to FastBuds. This plant is the tallest and is showing promise of a high yield. I'm continuing to water weekly ph balanced at 6. Everyday I check this beauty it seems something new and exciting is happening. I cannot wait to see how things go from here. 👍
This was another stellar week for this lady. It looks like the stretch has ended and she has been putting all of her energy into bud growth. She is a thirsty one so I've been watering faithfully every 2 days with plain water ph'd at 6. On Sunday I added blackstrap molasses to the watering. I also heavily defoliated on Sunday to allow maximum light to the bud sites. Today she seems to have recovered without issue. Seems to be a very healthy and resilient plant. I'll continue the regiment into next week. Thank you to all that have continually been supportive through this process. Could not be where I am without you.
This wonderful lady continues to grow in all the right places this week. I've continued to water with plain water ph'd at 6 and alternate with waterings that have blackstrap molasses.
I also received my new Spider SF-4000 light and I'm really excited. I'm not the only one. The ladies in the tent loved it immediately. I'm looking forward to how things finish out with this new light in the lineup.
I want to thank everyone that continues to stop and take time out of there day to drop a line or answer a question. It has been beyond helpful and inspirational. It's been really great getting to know a lot of great growers and people.
Another great week for this lady. She continues to pack on weight in the bud regions. The smell is not quite there yet though her sisters in the tent are really starting to blossom in that regard. She is loving the new light and so am I. I have been alternating watering with plain water ph'd at 6 and alternating with a note mix. On Saturday I flushed her and measured the ph. It was running a little high so on Monday and I adjusted the difference before I watered. We'll continue this regiment into next week. It's getting really exciting 😀
This week the smell profile really came through. Just a wonderful array of fresh baked light lightly vanilla'd bread. I also used a plant yo-yo as this one started leaning heavy. I also noticed the leaved were very pale green. I have made the necessary nutrient adjustments and I will keep an eye into next week. I also adjusted the light a little higher as I noticed a little stress on she and 2 other plants. I did some light defoliation and alternated watering between plain ph balanced water and a nutrient blend. I will keep a close eye on her in the next week to see how things develop. As usual any feedback is always most welcome. 😀
This was another great week for bud development. It was also a week of recovery from nutrient deficiency. I've adjusted the nutrients and have been alternating between nutrient mix watering and plain watering both ph'd at 6. I've checked my soil ph and things have been between 6.3-6.7. I also have been defoliating daily with little leaves here and there that were affected by the nute issue. I want to avoid bud issues so I'm removing all of the dead or dying leaves as I see them. This week I've also see an influx in color. really subtle purple is starting to come through. She also smells absolutely wonderful. It's a mix of soft vanilla with a light baked bread. Other days it's had the smell of a kettle corn bag recently emptied. Either was I'll continue this new regiment and hope things continue to look up. If anyone has any suggestions of feedback, it's always most welcome. I'm here to learn and grow ( yes dad puns )😉
Stay safe and happy growing everyone.
She's getting oh so close now. I cannot believe how dense these nugs are. The smell is incredible right now. Very sweet and almost pastry influenced. The colors are really wonderful but I am still concerned about her not getting the right combo of nutrients. She's maintained that yellowish leaf and light green color on her sugar leaves. Through it all she is a fighter and will not be stopped. The trichomes are really cloudy now even though it looks like she's finishing things out. I have not yet seen too much amber influence so I'll let this one ride out. As usual any and all feedback is most welcome. Stay safe and happy growing.
Hello everyone,
I'm just looking for some general opinions on recommended harvest times. I'm curious to see how my intuition is stacking up with reality ;)
Thank you to everyone that stops through.
I generally lean towards a bit early then a bit late.. If your trichromes are milky/cloudy then you can harvest.. If you wanna go amber you can but Amber makes for a harsher feeling and smoke.. Ever wonder why some weed knocks you on your ass? This has a lot to do with how much Amber there is... If you selling to a younger crowd or people not in the know go for like 20-30% amber. If your smoking yourself and don't want weed that knocks you on your ass go for very little to no Amber... Smoothing smoke no coughing :).
This one is soooo close to the finish line. Her purples are popping through more and more everyday. Her trichomes are cloudy and turning amber but not all hairs have browned or curled in. I'll keep a close eye throughout the week. I've already began flushing and have been lightly defoliating yellowing or dying leaves. I'll likely go dark later this week or early next depending on how she finishes. Really looking forward to this one. It smells of a heavenly bakery in Paris (not that I've been ;) more assuming )
Thank you to everyone that has stopped and gave a like or some support. Stay safe and happy growing. 😀
This was a very fun plant to grow. It was the tallest plant I've grown indoor to date. It also had the largest wet yield at just over a pound. One of the issues I'm having is maintaining density with my buds after they are cut. This particular dry was marred by temps in the low 80's and I couldn't get them any lower unfortunately. Also as this one has gone longer than anticipated I also pulled her earlier than I'd like in order to keep the rest of my grows on schedule. I have been working a FastBuds grow right now including 5 or so strains. Every one has been a great grower. So far I've harvested the Cali Snow and now the Wedding Cheese. The Zkittles are less than a week away. I'll update this report as it has more chance to cure.
