Fastbuds first ever grow

So this is my very first grow and to say I’m excited is an understatement lol After much research I decided to grow 1x FastBuds Pineapple Express 2x Positronics Jack Diesel All 3 of my girls are Auto’s as I thought this would make it a bit easier as I’m a newbie! I’m growing in a Black Orchid grow tent with a 6” exhaust and carbon filter, 6” inlet fan, 2 small clip on fans and 2x 350 Mars LED lights. I’m using 10l smart grow bags filled with a 70/30 mix of coco coir and perlite. I keep the PH between 5.5 and 6.5 and am currently on wk 2 of flora’s nutes schedule. Have just started to grasp the feeding/watering situation, last week I stupidly mixed up a wk 2 solution of nutes and the first true set of leaves at the bottom have paid the price! I think I over watered them slightly as well. I let them dry out for a couple of days then just fed plain PH water the next few times. They had a very weak mix of nutes Thursday and I will give them the rest tomorrow. My PPM reading was 868 is this right? Would really appreciate your pearls of wisdom as I am a newbie at growing my own medicine!! Can’t wait to smoke it. 😁

Hey So here are my girls at day 19, they seem to be doing good, no major problems apart from what I think could be minor nute burn on the Pineapple Express?? There is new growth going on underneath the leaves, I’m thinking that they’re still quite small and not a lot of growth height wise?? Feeding half strength nutes 2x weekly with plain PH water in between feeds. I’m thinking that from now on I should be watering them until I get run off, I have still been watering around them for fear of over watering again and the fact they’re still quite small. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. How long do these girls veg for until they start flowering? And what signs should I look out for? Thanks guys and gals 😊

Hey So I’ve made it to the end of week 5, we’ve had a few issues this week but they were newbie mistakes on my part!! My girls looked real sad yesterday and ppm levels coming out we’re higher going in. I flushed them last night until ppm level was 350. I then shared 10l of ph 6 water with 1/8 recommended nutes, calmag and Rhizotonic. Today is day 33 and my girls have really perked up!! They are slowly getting taller and I’m gunna use my ppm meter to determine what nutes I use rather than a weekly schedule. Really enjoying growing my own medicine 😁 will update you all same time next week. Thanks for reading my diary, any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey So we’ve made it to the end of week 6 😊 The girls have really started to bush out and stretch up the last few days. The Jack Diesel that is a day behind went into flower quite a few days before the other 2. She is still quite short but I think I may have stunted her. She went a bit blue this week so I have upped her Bloom nutes. Not quite sure how’s this one is gunna turn out but im having fun growing her anyways. The other 2 girls are doing good and finally starting to stretch. Have started to use the Lucas Formula and my ppm meter to feed my girls. Last feed was 750 and no sign of nute burn, have also started to use canazyme a few times a week. I think something is nibbling my plants but I can’t find any bugs anywhere, quite confused. Going to get some sticky fly paper and see if I can catch the lil fucker! I have read though that this can happen for no reason. Let me know what you think. Catch ya later, happy growing 🌱

Hey guys & gals So I’ve scraped through to the end of week 7! 😉 I’ve really struggled with temps and humidity so I have a dehumidifier and heater coming tomorrow. Also ordered an oscillating monkey fan to help with air flow. The Pineapple Express and Jack Diesel are doing really well and almost doubled in size in just a week! Have developed flowers everywhere and now in full flower. I think they may be a bit behind and may take a few more weeks but hey ho it’s my first grow. The Jack Diesel that is a day behind hasn’t been doing so great 😔she has always been the smallest but went into flower a lot sooner than the other 2. On day 44 she was droopy and looking blue. I did some research and thought it may be a phosphorus deficiency. I mixed up some nutes and watered til I got run off, the water had an eggy smell so again researched and thought it may be root rot. I flushed this lil girl and then gave a small dose of ph’d water and nutes. Left her to dry out for a few days and she perked right up. I had a lil dig about to see how the roots were and they’ve were all a milky white colour. Even the roots popping through the bag are white. Her leaves are praying up to the lights as we speak so I’m gunna let her do her thing til the end. Have got some PK booster coming so will introduce to my girls soon. Catch you all laters 👋🌱☝️

Hey End of week 8 and we’re doing good I think!! Not many pics this week as I’ve been busy with work. All 3 girls are in full on flower power mode and packing on bud sites. Hey peeps Sorry for not checking in for a little while, I’ve been away with work and stuff. Girls are doing good, the Pineapple Express is no where near ready. FastBuds say 9 wks but I think I stunted her with my newbie green fingers! She’s doin well though so can’t complain 😊 The Jack Diesel that is on day 60 is doing amazingly well but again still won’t be ready within the time frame that Positronics state, again my newbieness is to blame. The Jack Diesel that is a day behind is a lil mean green hulk, not very tall but she is chunky! Only feeding Bloom nutes, Cannazyme and Terpinator now alternating with plain water. Hey So we’re at the end of week 12 and my girls are looking almost ready! I might have to harvest the main kola on the Pineapple Express as its looking ripe as hell! Gonna flush these ladies for a week and harvest them, I need the space for my new lil girls! Catch ya next week peeps 👋

Hey peeps End of week 13 and the girls are ready 😁 I flushed them for a week and the ppm’s were at the same level as the tap water going in so I chopped em down!! They are drying in a box as I type. Will put up my harvest week this weekend. Catch ya laters 👋

Hey peeps So here’s my harvest, I actually grew myself some really nice bud. Learnt lots along the way and still learning! I may not have had a killer harvest this time but, it’s enough for me. Even after my newbie mistakes she gave me some top grade smoke. Now she’s dried and curing, her buds are smaller but nice and dense. She is still sticky and smells real good when you bust it open. I will give her a 10 out of 10 smoke wise, tingly, chatty and tastes fruity and citrusy. Really enjoyed growing this FastBuds strain and I will be growing it again for sure 👍🏻☝️ Catch ya laters peeps 👋

Hey peeps So, I’ve made it to the end and actually managed to harvest myself some pretty decent bud!! It may not be a killer harvest but it’s enough for what I need. Really enjoying growing my own medicine and no longer paying my hard earned cash over to dealers! In total from all 3 of my girls I got 2 1/2 ounces! Not bad for my first ever grow ☝️ Have 2 more of these beans and will deffo be popping them in the near future. Catch ya laters peeps 👋
