Week 2
Day 8 (21/08/2020):
I decided to replant in the evening after lights off so I carefully took out the girls from their tiny pots and put them into their 15L AirPots with BioBizz All Mix soil inside. I also watered all of them with 1.5L of water with Root Juice (4ml/1L) and this will be their last watering if root juice and I will give them plain water at the next as the soils has a lot of nutrients inside. When taking the girls out of their small pots I might have damaged some roots because the soil didn't come out perfectly, but there were loads of roots which is a good sigh and the girls should recover quickly.
Day 9 (22/08/2020):
Today was the first colder day after the heatwave (22 degrees in the day) which has thankfully decreased the temperature in the tent during lights on and the temperature is around 27ยฐC now, which must be much easier on the plants. This means that the humidity can be decreased as well so I am now trying to keep it at around 65%. I think both girls are also doing quite well after changing pots.
Day 10 (23/08/2020):
Today I noticed little leaves appearing all along the stems of both girls. They have also exploded in size one day, which is a good sign as it means they are adapting well to the replant and the new soil with nutrients. The second girl is definitely bigger still (8cm tall vs 5cm tall for RHC1) but I'd say they are very close in terms of their development. The soil was still very wet today so probably won't need to water for the next few days.
Day 11 (24/08/2020):
Both of the girls are doing great and growing so much each day! Although the first girl is still a little behind, but I think when we start training there should be less difference between them. I have a feeling they are both going to grow tall so they will need a lot of training. The soil was dry on the very top today but when I checked deeper it was still very wet, will see tomorrow if they will to be watered.
Day 12 (25/08/2020):
Not that many updates today, but I did want to show the difference between all the girls in the tent with a picture of the whole tent. RHC2 (bottom left) is definitely the biggest and has the most fan leaves and tiny leaves along the stem. RHC1 (top left) is close but still a little behind. Do-Sweet-Dos (bottom right) is definitely the most interesting as it has the most curly/rounded leaves and I think it will be the most bushy out of the 4. Sweet Zkittles (top right) is the smallest girl but I don't think that's gonna be a negative factor when they have all grown up. But all of the girls are looking healthy and have strong stems. I also rotate the pots clockwise along the tent every day as it is more windy next to the fan and want to avoid wind burn. I checked the soil and it was still not dry enough to water, which is surprising because what I kept seeing the most about Air Pots is that they need to be watered much more frequently.
Day 13 (26/08/2020):
Today the soil was finally dry enough to water and we are starting them with nutrients. We watered all the girls with 1.5L of water with 1ml of BioGrow each (2/3 of recommended, will increase later if required). Both the girls are growing super healthy and getting bigger every single day. I think that #2 is even ready for training in week 3! Still haven't decided which training methods to use though ๐ Also since it's been colder and more rainy lately, the temperature in the tent has been around 25C during lights on and 23C at lights off which is perfect, finally!
Day 14 (27/08/2020):
Today is the last day of week 2 and both have made amazing progress throughout the week. I was thinking that only #2 will be ready for training but to be honest I think they both will be ready in week 3. How exciting! I did notice little spots on #2's leaves and lucky I know exactly what the problem is because I've encountered this in the previous grow. The burn spots are because of accidentally leaving water droplets on leaves after watering and because the light is so strong it creates a lens and burns the leaves. I completely forgot about this so didn't take enough care when watering, will definitely keep this in mind for the future. At the end of the week RHC#1 is 9cm tall and RHC#2 is 11cm tall.
@WishiFishi, nice best of luck with the grow! The flavour is amazing, tastes very fruity and quite sweet. Always reach for Red Hot Cookies the most out of all the strains ๐
