This little lady is part of part 2 of my novice 2x4 hid perpetual harvest tent set up. I have also started an auto OG Kush to join this one and 3x critical xxl that are 3 weeks in (see my other diaries). When I first started I Couldnt get the germination right.. This time I soaked the seed for 12 hours, transfered onto moist kitchen roll to crack in the dark, moved into jiffy pellets and then straight into the 11 ltr cloth pots when they were ready.. It seems I have found a good method this time as they seem to be taking to the tent really well this time.
Not a great week to start the Mazar.. Tent has seen some high temps over the week, went very yellow but appears to be hanging on.. Hopefully more to report in next week if it makes it.
So... I may have got baked and had one of those.... "I know what will be a good idea.!"
I give you Frankenstoned early Lst lol
I know I am a novice and have no right to be messing with things that already exist, and the weighted lst has probably been done many times already but I was having fun, I had a silly stoned idea, and just for shits n giggles, I made it happen, and for me this growing thing has to be fun right?
Humour aside,
it actually seems to work lol.
I find I am a little heavy handed and a bit clumsy trying to tie things down. I recently accidentally snapped one of my criticals branches off so my little system allows me to just lift the wires up and tuck it under at strategic points.. It is quite early to be training I guess but the wire gently pushes down on the stem.. It looks heavy handed but it is actually quite gentle...
So let's see if it works or not.. I am only trying it on this 1 subject.. I am expecting for the Mazar to pull up on the weights as it fattens up but I have allowed space on the bolts to add more weight..
Other than this revelation (or massive cock up) lol. The Mazar has been struggling in the heat a bit but surviving.. Let me know your thoughts,
happy growing lovely people
Was a trying week for the Mazar auto.
Lots of high temps in the tent, I introduced some very weak remo veg stage nutes and she wasn't ready, reverted back to 6.5 pH water and she seems to be recovering, I will give her a little remo velo kelp foliar misted this week to help recovery as I did with the criticals during the veg stage... They loved it. Will continue playing with lst until flower. The growth is slow and the new growth feels a bit wierd and thick and rubbery, not sure what that's about but I'm sure she will reveal all soon.
Happy growing, check back in next week

Cracking on with the lst, no signs of starting the stretch yet but every thing is pointing the direction I want ready.
Still only feeding with pH water and velo kelp..
Not going to be huge but hopefully chunky

Funny old mutant Mazar keeps going and has slipped into flower, let's see how she goes.
Starting her on flower nutes next feed
Lots of sites for buds.. But all a bit twisted
Still a funny old girl, doesn't like remo nutes so trying her on an all in 1 canna flora on a mild dose to see if she likes it a bit more..
Happy growing

Drastic last resort to get this fussy Mazar to find her happy place... And it has really paid off..
Repotted into a 30ltr air pot and sohum living soil.
Only PhD rain water
I am finishing her off with water and sohum only and she is recovering and turning into a great thing.
Re lst'd and defoliated
Moving into new tent with an additional viparspectra p1000 led plus the 600 hps next week.
Moved into a new 4x8 this week. Much more room, Mazar is under the hps.
More lst and defoliation... The early lst paid off, so many stacked colas.
Sohum living soil is amazing.. I have gone completely onto it and Repotted the whole tent into it and it has transformed every plant in there.. Love it.
