Hi! This is a run featuring three nice phenotypes from ripper seeds strains.
One Zombie Kush with nice purpling in the end of flowering and two very different
acid dough phenotypes.
One has insane trichomes production and a super sour smell and the other is really fruity/sweet and has cool wide indica leaves.
Prior to this week plants were in a pretty bad shape. very light green, spider mites and not growing quickly.
I started with a heavy feed to get things back on track as well as a foliar spray with 4ph water over and under the leaves to try and get rid of the pest.
They responded really well to the feeding and are greening up more and more everyday.
The plants were further opened to allow lower growth to shoot up and fill up the canopee. Growth is looking real good.
The spider mites also seem to be pretty much gone but we're still on the watch as those fuckers are apparently hard to get rid of.
I plan to veg for at least 1 and a half more weeks before flowering to buy more time with the mites.
having them reappearing in week 2 of flower wouldn't be good
By the end of this week all our plants started stretching rapidly and the very first pistils showed up.
We're clear of any deficiencies except from a select few bottom leaves as is expected.
We also replaced the small skewers with bigger bamboo stakes to help train the plant and support all the buds later down the line.
More and more pistils appearing all throughout the plants. The bloom speed is clearly taking off.
after the end of this week we will start lowering the nitrogen and increasing PK to help the flowers develop.
Things are cruising along pretty well,
The canopee could be better but considering we were late on topping in the early begining it doesn't surprise me too much.
In one week the frost alert is quickly ramping up and Its getting more and more caked in a matter of days.
The zombieKush was the quickest to start fattening up followed by the AcidDough#2 while the AcidDough#1 is taking her time forming a larger bud structure.

Dark spots appeared on some upper leaves overnight.
I don't think this is the cause, but I did a pretty heavy defoliation the day before.
the spots only affects leaf margins and makes the tips curl up. The spots are brown, burned and slightly purplish.
what could this be?
your ph is off. to fix you need to do a flush
flush until your run off is at a 6.0
let the pot dry out for a few days.
mix your first feed of nutrients at half of what you use. get the ph where it needs to be things will be fine.
if you can at the first feed try to add kelp. this helps with the stress your plant goes through. use every other feed.

First damages on the plants, oh noes! It always hurt when it happens.
It's pretty minimal and probably ph related
We flushed right away and it doesn't seem to spread too much anymore. Will have to keep an eye on that in the next days.
Problems set aside, the flowers are slowly getting fatter and frostier
the future is bright and full of weed!
The difference between all the three phenos featured here is starting to become clearer and clearer every day.
The zombieKush1 is the fastest to flower. First pistils, first sign of fattening up, first sign of pistils turning amber and swelling.
The acid dough 1&2 are both slower to flower (expected from a sativa)
I expect them to get fatter as a result, we'll see.
Other from that, it's becoming really pungent and the frost is becoming insane!
Slowly but surely bulking up.
The whole closet is starting to really look delicious!
I often see these few last weeks as the best yet most excruciatingly slow moments in a grow.
Chop chop in one month
Still on cruise control, buds getting hella fat and my appartment is getting a little stinked up.
The harvest is getting really close and it's looking juicy!
See you all next week for the first week of flushing (not the acid dough 2 which is lagging behind a bit)
The last white pistils are turning brown and the buds are finishing their swell. Harvest is coming close!
Next week is probably going to be the last before harvest.
The acid dough pheno 2 is behind but I count on its lack of amber to offer a more energetic psychedelic buzz.
The smells are getting really ripe as well.
The zombie kush has a heavy lavender vanilla smell, super sweet and musky/ pungent.
The acid dough #1 has a really sharp fruity smell with a powerful dank/rotten note to it.
The acid dough #2 is sweeter and a bit hard to describe. Maybe a pineapple & candy smell blended 50/50 with a skunky funky smell.
All three very different and I can't wait to taste those!
Last thing to add: the flush is on its way
Last week before chop chop. Looking ripe as fuck.
I'm basically just waiting for the leaves to fade and then we'll get to the chop, the dry and the taste test!
The zombie kush is starting to really turn a dark, almost black purple color.
I'm expecting even more to show through at the end of the fade.
A bright red color seem to start showing through the acid dough #1 leaves. If I'm right, this one should be quite a looker in a few days!
The AD#2 was the darkest plant before flush and it shows, as it's barely starting to fade now. Maybe we'll have to chop it one or two day after her sisters
I was hoping for a bit more color overall but it's still pretty good and I'll get there someday.
Trichomes are ready, everything is looking flawless, we'll harvest tomorrow after the dark period
As we harvested the three girls at the same time, I'll add another bloom week and shove all the general harvest stuff in there before detailing the three strains separately.
