Still vegging under 18 hours of light trying to get them big enough to put outside my micro climate is only a few miles from the coast so I kind of be cool outside and overcast a lot so I vegged indoors get them as big as they have room for before I put them outside In the past my plants start blooming no matter what time of year I put them out because of the overcast nature of the area that’s why I picking red Mandarin because it’s fast And I want to beat the mold this year
At this time things got really busy at my job and my flowers got neglected. The clones I had going where in 4 inch pots I stretched out and got super leggy and were rootbound. But my system is a quasi-hydroponic set up it’s kind of a blend of Styles. Depending on what I can afford to buy or what I can build
Plants have been outside for approximately four weeks all the red mandarin are starting to flower some are starting to show color. Plants seem to have recovered from the stresses from my indoor neglect. They are thriving now and growing like crazy
Six weeks outdoor most the plants look to be about 3 to 5 weeks Into bloom the weather has been unusually nice this year except for the wildfires creating smoky conditions and dropping ash on my plants we’re about to have another mini heatwave I don’t know how that will affect my plans going forward time will tell. I’m super excited about this medical grow this is legal grow in California.
To Be honest I use guano tea homemade, and miracle grow for veg this is a budget grow things I’ve been collecting for years and put them into use. It’s a little hillbilly as we call it here it’s mountainomics money for set up is always tight but I’m making it work
For bloom I still use the guano tea and I’ve changed to a water soluble bloom enhancer. Grow More®️ Hawaiian Bud 5 - 50 - 17
I’ve never used it before but it is cost-effective so we will see
Unusually hot for several days in the high 80s, nights in the 60s low humidity. But last night the coastal fog came in and drenched everything like it rained 90% rh.
Foggy cool. The weather says it’s gonna warm up today 11 AM or so, my early morning walk through today looking for bits of mold. It’s not bad thankfully the warm weather killed a lot of the stuff that was starting but it’s back. And the next 10 days I’m going to have high humidity. With sun part of the day. Getting ready for a second application of bloom nutes and made a fresh batch of guano tea. The buds are starting to swell nicely, and dense up. The smell is amazing from 100’ away it smells like a candy store on the boardwalk. Still hoping some color will start to develop, thinking I got 10 more days before I harvest this strain.
I will say this particular strain seems to like being small my bigger plants yes have more bud side but the bud is fluffy still and I picked off several branches contaminated with mold I did an experiment With a handful of plants that were well rooted cuttings I Tested a sea of green outdoor idea I have been kicking around and while the plants Are small the buds look amazing Like they are several weeks ahead of the bigger older plants and I haven’t found any mold on the small plants. I’m definitely going to run a larger scale experiment next year using the same pot putting as many as 10 or 15 plants seeing if yield/quality/speed is the same as one big plant.
The smell of this is heavenly sweet citrus, with a pine finish... great crystal content, light green with hints of lavender/pink easy to grow and loved the nutes and easy clone
Honestly I was super disappointed with this strain. The mold just ravaged it and I had to take it at8 weeks of flower what I took down was lovely but immature I think as how it dried up, it shriveled up and lost it’s density. But indoor I bet it would rock I wish my report was better, it’s all a learning curve I have 4 more beans to pop and I look forward to a second round. The crystal content is great so should extract well, smoke is pretty nice leaves the mandarin taste great day weed
Thanks for sharing a new diary with one of our strains.
We hope you enjoy it :P
Once finished, with the final notes of the strains, you can ask us for more seeds to share another diary.
Sweet smokes!

@Sweet_Seeds,
Thanks for all your hard work making beans for us to grow. Anytime you want to send me beans I’ll keep a record of it here. I’m trying to find a crazy color Pheno so if you take requests lol
Damn bro those are looking good. Give them a few weeks and they're going to be bright purple. You won't believe how she finishes. Always under 6 weeks for me.
