Tent is 2x4x5 so it’s gonna be tight with 2x7gal bags, especially if the Coco Melon takes off like it says it’s going to. Will likely do LST, and I’m going to be running this light the entire time. Currently only running it at 40% power. First time grow.

Transfer to 7gal mesh pots. Still under one 150watt led but mars hydro ts1000 should be here shortly. No issues so far

Plants seem to be doing pretty good. Maybe a few more days and they’ll be getting topped. I think I’m going to try the “4-way LST”. Lights are still running 24hr but will be going to 18/6 on day 21. The Coco Melon appears to be very bushy in comparison to the Gelato. Any guesses on the yield of this grow? This is my first time so interested to hear what is possible. Ty

Topped both on day 19. Switched light cycle from 24h to 18/6 on day 21, also increased lights to 100%. Slowly increasing water consumption but still under 1L per day

I switched plants and lights, so the coco melon is under the p1500. Now the gelato has some light stress. I’ve scaled back the ts1000 to about 25% output as well as the p1500. Appears obvious now the coco was under stress the entire beginning as it looks 100% better now. Just gave them each a 1/2 dose of UCann Bloom mixed with worm castings and will be flipping to 12/12 a little under 2 weeks, which will be 6 weeks of veg for both plants. Also just raised the lights 6” but want to build something that will take the lights right up to the top of the tent. They produce almost no heat, so I don’t need to worry about having them to close to the top. About 1L/24hr now. Thinking next grow I’ll do 4 plants in 5gal containers, or maybe 8 in 3gals

Lights are still at around 25%, heavy defoliation right before posting this. Maybe 7-11 more days an I’ll likely switch to 12/12. Still only around 1L/day depending on humidity. I read online to be careful of overwater promix. Temps are dropping with the temperatures outside but both seem to be doing okay!

Defoliated again, lights are at about 30% but I’m slowing turn them up to prevent light stress from happening again. About 1L a day of water. Waiting for the canopy to even out more before switching to flower

Some more defoliation and lst. Coco Melon is much stockier than the gelato and the nodes are much closer together, probably take much longer to flower than the gelato. Drinking a lot more water, averaging 2-3L per day. Lights are at 100% and no signs of stress. First few hairs are showing on both plants.

Both plants are looking good. About 2L of water every 2-3 days. Starting to smell a bit. The Coco Melon is very dwarf like so I’ve raised it up for an even canopy. Gelato is growing very strong. Temps are about 26-28 during the day and dropping to 16-17 at night.

Not sure what happened with the coco melon but it stayed super small given that the reviews said it would get very big. The gelato is just like the reviews and is doing very well. Both plants are showing a bit of purple in the buds. Fed ucann bloom again today at the end of week 3. They are taking way more water now, 4L every two days just about. No idea what my yield will be

Still taking about 2-3L of water each day, feeding ucann bloom every two weeks with worm castings. A little bleaching on the gelato but I just raised the light a few more inches, hoping it’s enough to prevent more. The Coco Melon is short but the buds are looking very compact.

Drinking about 2-3L per day. I’m thinking the Gelato (on the left) has another two weeks, probably 3-4 more weeks for the Coco Melon. Both plants are giving off a lot of smell, the Gelato definitely has a sweet smell, while the Coco Melon smells just like Cantaloupe. The Coco Melon has great colour and is turning dark purple along the edges of the leaves and in the calyx. Both plants are looking very sugar coated and are starting to show their first red hairs. Fed both plants 1 cup of ucann bloom and worm castings. So far so good So far so good

There is now calcium deficiency on the gelato but should be chopping that one down within the next week. The gelato has slight pink undertones on many of the buds and leaves which seems to have gotten more prominent in the last 2 weeks of flower. Buds are very tight and smells like candy. The coco melon has deep purple buds throughout. Very small and sticky which is not what I expected but the quality appears to be there. Not expecting much of a yield but the buds look very nice and I’d describe the smell as tropical. I’d say probably at least another two weeks on the coco melon before harvest. I don’t think I’ll be feeding anymore UCann Bloom at this point and let them both ride it out.
