Wk 1: This is planting and preparation. First week of veg is effectively Week 3. Soaked in rhizo solution for 12 hours before planting. Kept on porch in 80 degree weather under low LED light, popped right on schedule at 3.5 days. Nothing crazy. Was watered in with Great White myco and Canna Bio Rhizo and left alone. One important note is that the data the site pulls regarding the genetics is wrong. Larry OG is a backcross of Lemon Larry and either SFV or Tahoe OG Kush; which are all first cousins. This thing is a straight (or almost) old-school indica. Where they got the idea it's a 100% sativa I have no idea.

Wk2: This is "seedling week," and I don't consider it to be a veg week. Just settling in, getting the first 3-leaf shoots, and transplant to intermediary 2 gallon container. Once roots came out of holes on bottom of starter pot, transplanted to 2 gal fabric pot. Mother Earth Terracraft soil (Have had great results with it.) Light myco and rhizo solution with a very little Roots Organic Buddha Grow and HPK thrown in. Larry is hardy and a heavy eater and I want to get her used to the feed from the start. Under 400W LED 5AM-8AM. Outdoors under full sun 8AM-6PM. Back to under 400W LED @ 20" distance 6PM-12AM. Nutrients are put in aerated water and aerated another 24 hours before feeding. Heading towards Tues/Thurs feeds with Sundays water only for 3x/week. Tent setup is pretty normal. Have a can mounted inside, ducting running to an external AC Infinity 6" fan w/ temp/hygro probe and control panel. Shed is outside, ducted with fresh air intake as a lung room and exhaust from tent ducted out. Assuming I can get around some potential high temps the next two weeks it's a near-perfect grow environment. Internodal spacing is tight and good, it took to burying the seedling stem well, and it's praying very strongly. This lady is ready for a good, good run. I love this particular strain. Great kush taste, good yield, big stretch to takes to trellis/ScroG training very well. Heavy feeder, not finicky.

Wk 3: This is *actual* Wk 1 of veg. Good growth and new shoot/leaf development. Happy with how it came out of seedling stage. She's really working on her roots right now, and I expect to see more out-of-soil growth two weeks from now. Good feed yesterday of half-strength Roots Organics Buddha Grow, HPK, Canna BioRhizo, and Great White myco. I use a thin wooden rod to punch holes down into the soil to both help even watering and even drying out, plus it gets the Mike down into substrate instead of getting filtered in the first 1/2 inch of the soil. I'm getting very good Sun and temps right now, so the lights are just supplemental from 5AM to around 9AM and 7PM to midnight. Plant took transplant with zero issues. Zero, and the Terracraft potting soil is (again) showing it's worth. It's an easy and nutritious blend to work with, never had an issue, and the biome likes it. Leaf formation is distinct and even. No curlers or weak ones. Internodal spacing stills tracking for good and tight. Larry show up a little lighter green than most Indicas. Lighter green does not mean faded. Fading will occur if soil isn't flushed properly at least 2x month - otherwise this girl eats. This week's nute mix is roughly half-strength Roots Organics Serene Kelp, Buddha Grow, GW Mike, Canna Bio Rhizo, and a dash of molasses to feed the biome. I'm going to wait until Wednesday to allow soil to get drier, the roots to develop, and get the plant hungry and ready for a growth burst, then probably feed plain water - half for flush, half for feed distribution in soil Saturday; allowing me to set into a Tues-Thurs-Sunday schedule beginning Wk. 4. Will also hit it with a local compost tea mix for overall general soil maintenance. Will be doing full Sun during the day for a while, as we get it good here and temps will only improve for at least another month. I like the supplemental schedule now, as it provides a nice warm up and cool down period for the plant, with a good full-spectrum burst for the prime growing hours. Pictures up today are first day of Wk 3 - 09/14. Will post second set Friday and adjust comments to reflect growth. Note praying posture. This plant is already operating extremely efficiently. Have to credit Swerve and Cali Connection for a winner of a plant. This one grows like it's a fight. Note: Nutes are mixed in 5 Gal bucket with simple airstone. Tap water aerated for 24 hours, nutes mixed in then aerated for another 24. We have good Calcium levels in the water her, so the only real deficiency I look for is Mag. I will hit it with a good CalMag dose week 5 or so to make sure she's ready for transplant to 3 gallon.

Functionally Wk 2 Veg. Things are going well. Root system developing and above-soil showing good stem thickness and tight internodes. Verdant, vibrant plant. Need to get a tape measure out and actually measure height. Temps got into the 50's a couple nights, not too worried about it. Fed it a good local ACT;and Rhizo, EWC/guano, and kelp. Just being careful to let the soil dry properly as it's turning Fall here and it's not sucking moisture like it does 9 months/year here.
