Okay so this grow here is a complete experiment.... actually more like set it and forget it...wait actually its more of a half indoor/outdoor veg/bloom kind of deal. These were basically throw aways so I just soaked em and popped them in some soil in those seed starter trays and all 5 came up no problemo. Wish MSNLs autos were as hardy but I digress as thats an issue for a other diary. These are basically intended to keep my OGK fem manifold company when I put it out to bloom. So here we go....
Well all 5 have made it and are thriving on their misted well water. Gonna let em grow some roots and then put em in big buckets of supersoil so they can become monsters alongside my 4 headed OGK. She is a female for sure and I may try my hand at making some seeds. My luck all 5 Afghan will be female and it'll actually be a bummer lol.
So no pics this week or for the next little bit. I run a heating and air conditioning company so I have a crazy work schedule during the grow season and I couldn't check on these plants often enough. They went outside in starter cups and sexed. Got rid of 2 males and continued veg until natural flowering. Really wrote these off and almost killed them several times. At the least they were stressed with moving, light schedules and sun exposure periods, stealth issues and nutrient deficiencies. Never fed these things once. So fast forward a couple of weeks to continue the story....
So the 3 females went into 5 gallon buckets but as I only had 2 left one bucket will be home to 2 plants though I highly doubt the little mustard victim makes it... and yes that one came out female despite my prediction of a hermie or male. Pics coming next week.
Ah yes the onset of flowering. They're producing a few sites. #1 has a few side branches but #2 & #3 never branched which works out since they share the same bucket 😉
Soooo obviously I didn't get out there to take pictures this week but I will have them shortly. Probably not much to report as these are micro plants and have been tortured throughout this grow in every way possible...
Nothing to report. Sorry but this turned into a set it and forget for real. Haven't hand watered or checked pH or anything in weeks just really letting them do whatever they can and concentrating on setting up my new indoor auto grow.
Update coming next time. I promise. If these things are still alive when I get back to them then I intend to actually care for them enough to get some sore of harvest 😆
As I suspected these turned out tiny but they are frosty AF especially the 2 single bud plants. They're fattening up a little bit here at the end. Gonna ice water flush next week then chop...
I am mindblown that these little things made it to a harvest. I mean they were literally thrown in the trash and covered with mustard and replanted and thrown outdoors with no water in the middle of the summer with no food or water and I still got buds to smoke. These were the first plants I have seen foxtail firsthand but almost all of the buds on these plants foxtail. I'm certain it was the scorching environment when they're used to the mountains. These plants really are weeds though.
