Hey everyone, whats up? Welcome to my first diary!
Here I will be sharing with you my run of 4 feminized Do-Si-Dos bred by Pyramid Seeds.
This is my first time with this strain.
Its a pleasure to be able to share this experience here. I will try my best to bring up good info about the genetics and pictures documentating it.
Any opinions and thoughts will be kindly appreciated.
=== STRAIN INFO ===
"It takes its name from the famous cookies of the American Girls Scouts and belongs to the Cookies family. Its buds have the sweet and exotic fruits taste of Cookies with the creamy touch of OG and with dark purple tones. Its aroma is penetrating, sweet and earthy with floral nuances. With a THC level that’s higher than 25%, its euphoric high is fast and intense and progressively transforms into a state of relaxation and introspection. Medically, it is highly recommended for people with depression and insomnia due to its lasting sedative effect."
Type: 30% Sativa - 70% Indica.
Genetics: Face Off OG x Girl Scout Cookies
Bloom: 55-60 days
THC: 25% CBD: -1%
=== SETUP ===
My grow tent measures 0,60m x 0,60m x 1,60m with reflective mylar inside. The air and heat will be extracted out by an 5" air extractor with a carbon filter, passive air intake and a clip fan inside the tent.
=== LIGHT===
The plants are going to grow indoors under a HID lamp of 250w. MH for veg and HPS for bloom, I have a basic reflector with no air ducting for it.
Except for the initial couple weeks I will put them under a weak grow LED for the delicate sprouts.
Light cycle: (18/6 VEG - 12/12 FLWR)
=== NUTRIENTS ===
For this run will be using the whole Remo Nutrients line.
Probably will start nutrients around week 2+
PH of nutrient solution ranging from 5.8 to 6.0.
=== SOIL AND POTS ===
Will start germinating the seeds 24 hours on a cup of water and then to paper towel. Seedlings will be planted on 0.8L pots and transplanted later to 5L pots and then to 11L plastic pots.
The soil is Jiffy with perlite added (60%-40%).
=== STRATEGY ===
Must keep the plants compact and short with training and pruning. No larf and popcorn buds.
WEEK 1 COMMENT:
3 out of 4 succesfully germinated and sprouted. 1 of the seeds cracked open but stopped developing the taproot completely, so probably it wont make it.
All of the rest seems healthy with uniform development.
