Starting another one off here, another FastBuds photoperiod tester, and another FFT1 clone. This is one of my personal favourites of the fast flowering line and is easy to clone making it easy to integrate into a cannabis regime. I didn’t really plan on this single diary, but as stated this strain loves to root and be cloned - healthy - a pleasant surprise. Its falling into a weird scheduling limbo, not large or old enough for the upcoming generation of plants to be flowered under HPS in five weeks. Not my type to be bred in my breeding diary (get that ruderalis outta here!) So I’ll have to hang onto it, use some LST, and perhaps go a longer distance. Should be a challenge for me. This is day 49. Still producing some funky growth, just sort of jagged leaves. I transplanted into a container of HP Pro Mix, with a small amount of perlite and worm castings, 4-4-4 Gaia Green All Purpose, and Myke Flower mycorrhizae. My tent is a DIY hung mylar tent in an unfinished basement. I’ve got some HeatPump input in addition to fans. Two 300 actual watt LEDs. I’ve recently acquired some data gathering and so I can display temperature and humidity for yesterday and part of today, you can see where I irrigated last night.

Day 56 for this FFT1 clone. This is junior to the next generation to get flowered. I can already see the problem as I’m forgetting this clone and its getting neglected, and yet I need to manage it for awhile. Training would be for starters, but I can likely wait until I next transplant. I am including a the temperature and humidity data from yesterday and part of today.

Day 63 for this (younger) FFT1 clone. This is the first in the Fastbuds fast flowering photoperiod line. I had previously mentioned this was between generations, it is firmly leaning to be flowered as a younger and smaller plant - in about two to three weeks. Sort of funny as there will be an older and larger FFT1 in that same generation. I transplanted this week into HP Pro Mix, some added worm castings and perlite, 4-4-4 Gaia Green All Purpose, and Myke Flower mycorrhizae. It is adjusting to the soil amendment and topping to control the canopy.

Day 70 for this FFT1 clone. I’ll call this one junior to the other FFT1 clone I am about to flower. It doesn’t make sense, but it helps me keep the two straight. This one is also going to go into flower and will just be smaller and more stout. It is appreciating the soil nutrients as it is repairing all the trimming and topping. One week until the flip. I’ve learned from the past and am committed to being proactive in my ways. This week I proactively treated for pests using Safer’s potassium based soap and neem oil. My server seems to be on the fritz with my digital data but manual readings show a range from 25-28 degrees Celsius at and above light level, and 20C below a thick canopy.

Day 76 for this FFT1 clone. I have two ongoing and this is the younger of the two. Both are going into flower at the same time. I treated all plants for a second time by spraying Safer’s potassium based soap and neem oil. Still trying to stay on top of my game. Some water irrigation followed photos. Because this is the smallest plant, it will get a good spot under the HPS. Next week will be the first flowering update of the diary.

Day 83 for the younger FFT1 clone. One week of flowering complete, and about six weeks of flower remain. Stretch is underway and this plant does care that it is undersized. Nice and green but I stocked up for the stretch and flower by adding some dilute 24-8-16 All Purpose Miracle Grow, with some blackstrap molasses and Plant Prod MJ Spike (CalMag). I’ll try not to fade this one too fast and because its small I want to make sure I preserve green foliage. The flower tent is slightly larger than veg., 6’ x 4’ in dimensions, and is hung mylar in an unfinished basement. My light is a 600watt Vivosun HPS. Check out BudXs and Hellishjam’s diaries if you haven’t already, they cool cats. This one tacks onto the other FFT1 clone, but size doesn’t matter and I am excited for the signature flavour - one of my favourites.
