Mmmmmmmm, Delicious Candy! This is a new diary featuring three regular clones taken off a mother from seed. Delicious Candy is from Delicious Seeds and the genes are Cheese x Carmelo. This distributor’s Cheese is a mix of Skunk and Kush. Carmelo is Lavender and a parent that includes Super Skunk, Big Skunk Korean and Afghani/Hawaiian. My experience so far (the mother) is fast growing, off branching, vigorous, and nice lush flowers. I have been impressed.
I have had alot of clones ongoing, I guess I can still successfully clone, and things were too hard to keep track of the photos and so no pictures of roots. Two clones are from August 22nd one from August 30th and just transplanted, so call it day 43. I used HP Pro Mix, with a small amount of perlite and worm castings added, 4-4-4 Gaia Green All Purpose, and Myke Flower mycorrhizae.
My tent is a DIY hung mylar tent in an unfinished basement. I have two 300 actual watt full spectrum LEDs. I have a centralized air duct system that feeds heat pump/furnace/fan circulated air. I include temperature and humidity data from yesterday and part of today.
See you next week!
Day 50 for the three Delicious Candy clones. Starting to see some good growth, some deep greens, healthy plants. Two of the three will soon need transplants, possibly this week if necessary. Some LST will be in the future, and some cloning of course.
Day 57 for the three Delicious Candy clones. I transplanted two of them this week so that makes them all in the same sized containers, and collectively about the same size and stature. I used HP Pro Mix, with some worm castings and perlite added, 4-4-4 Gaia Green All Purpose, and Myke Flower mycorrhizae. I’m waiting for the tent to get cleared out and then I can do some LST and trimming. I don’t have digital temp./humidity readings this week, I’ll have to figure out whats going on, but the manual readings have it much warmer above the canopy and again above the lights. I’m entering the data close to the floor.
Day 64 for the trio of Delicious Candy clones. Now that everything was transplanted the plan was for LST this week. I had like eight to do in a row across different grows starting with these three. I broke the first branch ... so, topping it is. The advantage of this is that is quickly snaps you into the zone for the rest (pun intended). My veg. tent got somewhat cleared out, and will be further cleared next weekend. More light on the way.
Day 71 since these Delicious cuttings of Candy. Two different forms, the one that I broke last week during LST is stout and compact, and the canopy already forming. The other two extreme LST versions are coming along. I had extra from other work, so I gave a treatment of Safer’s potassium based insecticide soap and neem oil. I saturated the soil and watered it in too. Since then the plants have gotten pretty dried out, my basement is incredibly dry at the moment. After photos applied some water, blackstrap molasses, and Plant Prod MJ Spike (CalMag), I also tried to balance the pH from the soap. Liberally topping as the plants are already way too large and lanky. Much more light available though.
