Fast Eddy

Purpleaves Both of my fast eddy seeds germinated perfectly, done in the RQS easy start tray, and put into my seed propagator. I am aiming to grow this strain for treating anxiety, I used RQS purplematic before which has <0.3% THC. Fast eddy has approx 9% THC, I’m hoping the entourage effect will boost the CBD medicinal properties!

Purpleaves Both germinated same time, looking identical. I had to stake one of them, because she fell over when I watered them! I must take more care! Definitely excited for this strain, easing back into a bit of THC (being a CBD strain smoker) I’m hoping the entourage effect will work nicely for me on this one!

Purpleaves Apologies for the photos under the light, was running low on time to take them out of the tent! Fast eddy has SHOT into life compared to my other strains, very suitable name! Looking healthy, fat Indica style leaves and very green. I have a good feeling about this plant 🌱 Well done so far RQS

Purpleaves Pistils showing now, as they should with an auto fem ;) flowering should be in full swing next week. Tent is a bit hot at 32 degrees C with the light on, but they seem to be doing OK. Good job RQS

Purpleaves She’s doubled in size this week, I have not been feeding her so I’ve sprinkled on some RQS easy boost of top feeding. Hopefully she will maintain this positive growth!

Purpleaves 1 plant is 26 inches, the other is 20. The taller plant has an interesting feature of a double bud! I have not trained / topped at all, so this is pretty cool. It will be interesting to see how it grows out. The smaller plant of the 2 has nice even buds throughout starting to form, with little internodal spacing. Trichome production is also starting, the flashlight on my phone helped show this!

Purpleaves Smell is really coming on now, and the resin production is very good. This is going to be a personal smoke, low THC, high CBD to easy my way back into smoking, as I’m pretty sensitive to THC. But this plant really smells over the others, and resin is looking crazy. Even some of the large fan leaves have crystals on them! Pretty intimidating for me 😅 I am excited to see how she turns out though.

Purpleaves 29 and 21 inches. Smelling great, looking great. Very frosty! Not long now.
