twentyeight_threefive Still adjusting to the new nutrients. New growth looks great. Some older leaves looked marked, I think it was the early stages of calcium deficiency. My tap water is very close to RO at 7.0 pH and 36 ppm. Started adding the Armor Si and CAliMAGic at 1 ml/gal. Feeds had been twice daily in the blue starter pots. Since transplanted on 10/13/2020 feeds have been daily. Feeds also have slowly progressed from the previous weeks max up to 1.2 current.

twentyeight_threefive Plants seemed to struggle with the Jack's. Probably user error, but I went back to Mega Crop 1 part as I had great results with it in the past. I tried to switch as there have been multiple reports of issues with MC and auto irrigation systems. I had hoped to try to swap to avoid issues in the future if I decided to upgrade. They've been fed daily and noticed they could probably start twice a day feedings. During their daily feeding I usually spend some time readjusting the tie downs for the LST on them. They've responded great except one little incident (10/28/2020) where I pulled down on BCN Critical XXL's top a little too strongly and ended up topping the plant. It'll recover, the canopy is much more even. In general they all look super healthy. The vegetation smell is pretty strong. When the tent is open for watering it will fill the entire basement with their great smell.

twentyeight_threefive Watering has been so much easier using the flood table to drain the waste to a bin below. I don't have to worry about overflowing saucers or individually dumping and moving all the plants. Removing the front two makes things much easier though. I can water the two back ones, place the front ones back in and water them. I could water them all in place but it's just easier for me the other way. Plus every day it gave me a chance to pull each plant to the front and adjust any ties for the LST. Plants seem to be extremely happy with their current regiment of nutrients. They have been getting 0.25 gallons of nutrients twice daily. Once a little after lights on and another half way through the light cycle.

twentyeight_threefive Day 42, the plants got a dose of Great White mycorrhizae with their feed. The lights were still 18" away at the closest point. Day 45 you can see Big Bud pumping out some mighty strong pistils on the lower portions of the stems. So far this thing is a beast. I anticipate a huge yield on this plant, more-so if it had more room to grow. Day 47 I had to super crop Big Bud down to the level of the other canopies. Day 48 Big Bud had no intention of staying down. 24 hrs later they were already heading back towards the light Have been tweaking the amount of nutrients they've been getting, trying to adjust to what they want. Have settled on 1 ml/gallon of CAliMAGic, 3 g/gallon of Mega Crop, 1 g/gallon of Bud Explosion, and 1 g/gallon of Epsom Salts. Mixing up 5 gallons daily. Mixes up and feeding at 1.5 EC @ 6.0 pH. In the future if I added more Bud Explosion I may drop the MC lower also to keep a constant EC. I had one feed where the EC hit 1.8 and I couldn't let them dry out and didn't have time to mix up another 5 gallons. It was too high of an EC mix and they showed slight tip burns starting. Each plant is getting 0.5 gallons twice daily in there 3 gallon cloth pots. This gives a bit of runoff, but I'm ok with excess waste over salt buildup.

twentyeight_threefive Things progressed awesome this week. I dislike that I can't enter my nutrients in gram/gallon, it's how I measure my nutrients. So I finally got into a 3.0 g/gal of Mega Crop, 1 g/gal of Bud Explosion, and 1 g/gal of Epsom Salts feed schedule. It's been a constant feed twice daily, with each plant getting a 1/2 gallon per feeding. CAliMAGic has been dropped. Wanted to lower the nitrogen level and haven't seen a calcium deficiency and the Epsom Salts should provide more than enough magnesium. After mixing it's always at 1.4 EC @ 5.9 pH. I was hoping it'd be 6.0 but I'm not going to complain about not having to pH up or down anymore with these. Just finished a HUGE change for these four ladies. They moved into a new home with new lights, coming up next update!

twentyeight_threefive So day 58 I finally got my new flower light and set it up in the 5x5 tent. It's a Timber Fatty VS 3000k. Perfect for a 5x5 flower tent (or the current 18/6 auto flower spot). I noticed some calcium deficiencies starting on Big Bud, so I resumed adding CAliMAGic back into the feed for them all. They immediately all showed improvement over the next 2 days. Hearty, healthy, and happy!

twentyeight_threefive Moving along here in flower. Big Bud is definitely way ahead of the others. BCN Critical XXL is coming along very nicely as well. It's getting just huge along side the Big Bud. Definitely excited to see how they all turn out.

twentyeight_threefive Everything is looking fantastic! Some burning on the serrated leaf edges and tips started. I had upped the Bud Explosion on a feed to 1.5 g/gal and despite the packaging stating to add at that level in full flower it's just too much. Reduced all nutrient amounts and feed is now at 1.4 EC @ 6.1 pH. After everything is mixed up the pH is sitting at 6.1 pH every time. I still feel like that is an acceptable level so no extra acids added for adjustments anymore, fed as is. Big Bud is just an impressive plant. It's definitely the largest and quickest flowering auto in the group. The colas are just super impressive, extremely heavy and super dense. The trichome production is just amazing as well, you can see in the last photos on Day 78. The other plants are moving along as well but a bit slower than Big Bud. The rest are several weeks behind. It's fine, they'll all finish in their own time. I do have a Lemon Auto in my veg tent that is getting large and I'd love to move over to this tent under the Timber Fatty VS light.

twentyeight_threefive Everything is bulking up. The calyxs on Big Bud look like they are about to explode. The deficiency from the previous week continued even with lowered nutrients. I could only concur that it's still nutrient burn but from salt build up in the coco. I recently untied all the tie downs for the LST training on the plants, they will finish as they are shaped now. This also gave me the chance to pull each of them out of the tent since they were no longer tied down to the flood table stand. They constantly feel light and are already fed twice a day, but I decided to try to multi feed by hand for as long as I have the patience and time to do so. I have been looking into more equipment that would help me automate the whole care process, it takes a lot of time for all the work. The first multi feed I did about 4 hrs after their first feed of the day and the pots felt almost bone dry. They take in 0.25-0.5 gallons on the smaller secondary feedings. Big Bud is getting very close to coming down! Another week or two I'm thinking right now.
