Moved into 3 gallon fabric pots. Filled with Foxfarm Happy Frog soil and 100ml of Gaia Green All Purpose 4 4 4. Drilled the bigger fan into the wardrobe (top left) rather than just sitting on the floor. Changed light cycle from 18/6 to 19/5. Trimmed leaves daily.

Oct 24th: Day 29. Flipped them to flower last night. Started feeding them both General Organics BioThrive (2-4-4). Following the dosage on the bottle which says a tablespoon for half a gallon of water. Oct 27th: Day 32:. Trimmed a few leaves and cut a few branches that were in close to the main stem. Thinking about setting up a scrog net.

Should I get rid of the main stem and just grow the surrounding bud sites? The main stem is getting too tall compared to the other stems so thinking I have to do something to help them catch up? Or just cut the main stem entirely? Finished 1st week of 12 12 tonight.

No, since you already flipped the light schedule to flower. You can top and mainline during vegetative growth, but during flower, it's generally not a good idea. It causes stress to the plants and during flower this can result in herming or other unwanted results including reduced yield. In this phase, I'd prefer low stress training. Just bend the main stem using some kind of wire. Supercropping is a valid option also, but as with topping, supercropping can also cause stress. I'd only supercrop during flower if there's no other option. Looking at your photo's, I think bending the higher branches down is the best way to go. You're plant is open and at the higher parts the plant is probably still flexible. So bending those high tops down is the easiest and less stressfull way to achieve a flat canopy imo.

Nov 16th: Day 52. SPIDER MITES! Chopped a leaf that was inside the plant getting no light and little airflow. Noticed a couple little dots on the leaf so checked the back with my loupe and seen spider mites and eggs... RECOVERY ATTEMPT: Lowering room temperature and increasing humidity slightly to around 45%. For the last few days it's been at 40% all the time due to the 0 degree weather outside! Spraying and wiping down affected leaves with this organic spray: https://mygoodgreen.com/collections/all-products/products/ferminator-organic-plant-wash Also sprayed Neem Oil on some leaves Nov 19th: Day 55. Keeping track of how many mites I find on each plant everyday to make sure they're going away.

Second ever grow. Got these two as clones. In pics with both plants, Blue Cheese will be on the left and Bruce Banner on the right.
